how the fuck can you manage the world's most angelic, James Bond-esque voice and choose a seagull sounding horse over it for the JAMES BONDE THEME ? this makes absolutely no sense. they should have advocated for Lana, not Dua Poopa. but who knows, maybe Dua was the second choice cause Lana simply may have not had time to work on such a cliche movie soundtrack considering she's dropping her self titled reflection soon

"rushed" songs are the ones that she feels pressured to release and slap onto an album . Coachella to her seemed like a song that she pressured herself into releasing soon which caused it to be the way it was . same with other rushed songs on LFL . she needed filler songs and rushed to make these . with albums she can take her time if she wants, making it a natural faster project that doesnt seem rushed but instead cohesive since it was put together in a short span of sessions.

i think that we're all suspect to forgetting that at the end of the day Lana is just an ordinary person like us. we all desire to have an old sound for the new album, whether it be the UV guitars or the Honeymoon strings we crave for production from the past. although we want this new album to be a reincarnation of her best work we have to remind ourselves Lana is a human who evolves over time and changes her perceptions on life and mental state. she may not be able to go back to those instrumentals because that was her at a different point of her life. she wants to grow more and more and i know that as a Gemini she CRAVES change. change for her life, change for her lyrics, and change for her growth as an artist. lets remember that we get an inside look on Lanas feelings with albums. i know it's cliche but as stans we really should be happy for whatever direction she takes because in the end she will only try to please us along with her feeling satisfied with where she is as a person.

i re watched the Kill Bill movies and holy shit, i NEED/WANT sounds like this from Lana so much. i could hear her covering Bang Bang so easily. the whole soundtracks for VOL. 1 & 2 are so fitting for her voice, they remind me of Honeymoon.

im curious at this album because she keeps sending mixed signals. we all know she said her attitude on tour coincides with the persona of the next album , what she wears on tour and how she acts gives me a more "ive discovered my bad bitch, sexy, funny side" from the constant mini skirts and her thigh high boots and her occasional smoking with making jokes at fans during the show. it doesnt seem like shes just SWALLOWED in this fantasy world of "rainbow, sparkly happiness" its more of a "ive become happy with myself" to where shes expressing all risque, cool, and funny sides to her . i feel like this next album WILL have some sort of cool, laid back guitar string vibes because at her best Lana is just laid back and she will give us a record to vibe and chill to on a summer day.

something about this song just doesn't do it for me. i think it's the vocals, she sounds nasally and like moany i can't tolerate it.

a 10/10 , i love that picture it is so mysterious yet dark and painful.

on late nights Change is that song for me that just tears me apart, imagine what a whole album sounding like that can do. she gets me so emotional at times, i can't even explain how Ride makes me feel. gems like these are a must for LDR6.
