White Dress - 101 Chemtrails Over The Country Club - 42 Tulsa Jesus Freak - 34 Dark But Just A Game - 41 -
final track will be a swamp pop masterpiece titled "airboat" with blues and zydeco influences
-
brownish orange

just wait and see, her patsy cline orchestrated country serve is coming
-
hold on i forgot where this was from
-
11 months between the lead single and the album, with plenty of little snippets along the way. she also announced chemtrails the day after nfr was released, so we had more 19 months of waiting for that right off the bat. releasing new album(s) almost every year is great, but her big mouth makes the wait become torture
-
country music has a deep tradition of murder ballads. i hope there's at least one track in that vein. i get why she won't release zodiac, but something similar with a southern sound would be nice

i hope there are more interviews in the leeds concert
-
i think she's changing how she talks about it while the music itself stayed just the same. ig it's her way to fine tune expectations
-
do we think there's a dolly collab on the way?
-
i'm sorry but i really thought this was released in blue banisters just realized i was thinking of cherry blossom

i'm so excited it's almost like i'm there -
her iphone recording antics make it so hard to keep up with the process
-
honestly, this is what i expect from a country record. a short tracklist, collaborations with friends and family, americana themes, a cover of a classic... so knowing lana this is now a trap record with eighteen tracks, seven different features and lyrics about the korean war
-
this might sound insane, but i think we should pay attention to the sabrina carpenter record. there are four songs produced by antonoff in it, and at least two of them have country elements (please please please and slim pickins, which she sang in a concert) — maybe the other two will be twangy too. they're both mellow, glittery tracks reminiscent of kacey musgraves. i wouldn't be mad if jack went down that road for lana's country music

this silence is so odd. i keep thinking she'll announce something out of the blue

it can get pretty offputting. lust for life is also awful in that department, as well as many of her boppier tracks. country needs rich soundscapes, and bad mixing can truly fuck that up.
-
exactly, it's coming next week.
-
if she doesn't release anything before her rock en seine concert it's over
-
it's now called "soft launch", and she ditched the cowboy theme for missile imagery and anti-war commentary. songs are lyrically similar to "change", but instead of piano there's guitar with some pedal steel and harmonica here and there
