  1. does anyone know when the gates open for primary entry?
  2. Future Jazz

    Charli XCX

every post i have seen from you since 2017 has this exact same tone… it must be tiring to be so negative sometimes
  3. i think it’s a shame we had too much time to overplay the snippets and the live performance but it’s such a good song, so unheard of for her, a million times warmer, more surprising and more personal than summer bummer and doin time in my opinion. so glad we got this!!
  4. why are we getting the HQ version of Zodiac tomorrow omg did i miss something?
  5. if it were to be released tomorrow and he found out about the date just a few days ago he w have kept the date a secret
  6. i don’t support it either when it comes to art pieces, but here it’s very different, it’s just something that will annoy taylor and make the grievances be known to her and maybe affect her plans. it’s just a way that regular people can make sure she directly hears about her use of a private jet being a problem, and it just gives the grievances a materialization! also i personally don’t see any problem with “vandalizing” a billionaire’s property when it’s just paint that can be washed away and their safety is in no way put at risk
  7. okay but let’s not forget about the Boston tag… something has to happen because of that
  8. well if individuals can make a change, she most certainly can… if regular people should change the way they live, as we are expected to do, it’s only reasonable that people like Taylor Swift, who is amongst the biggest polluters on earth, should, too. I also don’t think it’s incompatible, and I think these activists are trying to reach out to people in government or institutions at the same time!
  9. That was a mistake they made, it’s not related to the principle and what people seem to have a problem with is “vandalizing someone else’s property” though
  10. This way of protesting aims to materialize the fact that not everybody is okay with Taylor Swift flying her private jet on a daily basis. Of course the paint is going to be removed, but it’s still a material testament to people’s dissatisfaction or anger. It’s a way, not to be heard, because I would be extremely surprised if Taylor Swift decided to change anything about her way of life, but to make sure she knows such dissent exists. It’s a way to voice out these grievances and to give them a way to exist. It’s also symbolic, it shows that maybe there’s still a way that people can have an impact on the world’s most powerful celebrities and the material ways in which they destroy the planet, that it’s not totally out of reach. It’s not like there are many ways to hold Taylor Swift accountable or to get her to be aware that this is not okay, so I personally don’t see what is “dumb” in this. I think it’s brave.
  11. it’s so nice to have that many signs pointing towards it being released tomorrow
  12. I think it wouldn’t be churning out new material if she has been working on it for 4 years like she said. That seems like quite a long time to think things through. To be fair, all the rollouts and post-releases were non-events, it doesn’t make much of a difference how much she likes it. Literally nothing happened after albums got released in the past 10 years, except maybe a couple interviews for NFR and sometimes a “tour” with 3 new songs. We have known for a long time that country is obviously a genre she’s interested in exploring, and given the fact that a full album of it was not only done but also announced, I’m quite disappointed we’re not getting it. I just don’t get why she wouldn’t release it and work on the next project.
  13. her reaction is on the verge of impoliteness tbh, as if there were something strange in being excited for an album she quite literally announced with a release month and didn’t cancel since then
  14. exactly… this seemed to be a well thought out, cohesive album and i don’t get why having new ideas and wanting to go in another direction should have to mean scrapping something that is obviously done. we know chemtrails was partly done before nfr was even released, same for ocean blvd and blue banisters…
  15. i really hope lasso is still happening, i was so excited to hear all these songs, i would have loved to hear her take on country. i loved the fact that this seemed to be a cohesive album, not to mention there was a chance we were going to get outtakes like loved you then and now. it’s just so frustrating to think that things that took years to make, things that we were going to get, might be scrapped just because someone else released a country album or just because she didn’t like the crowd’s reaction after the announcement, and that there’s literally nothing we can do to change that i wish she would just stick to the plan. something doesn’t sit right with me in scrapping an album whose release month she has literally announced and after jack said it was brilliant
  16. I saw her in Barcelona and I fully agree with everything you said, I was so disappointed in the setlist when Coachella happened but when you see it live it hits different, it’s so good that there’s really no room for thinking about how it could’ve been better because the experience as it is is absolutely amazing. I was front row too but not on the side where she went, we were all so disappointed too, but at least I got to see her close ! and Young and Beautiful outro is literally perfect
  17. hey did anyone save the video of the whole set?? it was deleted ...
  18. i saw her live, i was almost front row, i can only say i was mesmerized. never in my whole life did i see anyone with such an aura. her vocals were amazing and it was life-changing. i’m so grateful
  19. i’m kinda new to the festival thing; when is the earliest one can access the queue / the set where Lana is going to play? i’m ready to wait for her all day but idk how / where, never been to a festival
  20. lana isn’t to only one to have done that though

    Taylor Swift

sorry but no the fact that she’s been everywhere for the past few years is definitely her own doing. also i feel like some of you guys are forgetting about the bigger picture. some fans got tired of her and some people are annoyed, as ever, it doesn’t change anything about the streams, or the money she makes from it, and the existence of some “reserves” definitely doesn’t make her an underdog by any means. she literally just got her 14th grammy.
