the daddy i miss them part followed by the that’s how the light gets in part is one of the most moving moments of her whole discography

to be fair I think there are quite a lot of songs on this album with strong melodies and quite traditional structures, but one thing i’m hoping for is that she won’t be mumbling so much on the next album. it works so well on A&W because of how nonchalant and disillusioned it is supposed to sound, much less on fishtail or peppers where i personally wish the vocals were clear. and i’d also love her to use her lower register more but it’s still her magnum opus

I just listened to the album for the first time, without having heard a single thing from it.

after spending months of fighting the urge to listen to any of the singles today is the day i win

oh they sure are, like they were hoarding Dealer until they leaked it the day we learned it was going to be on the album

i’m sorry this was probably asked a lot of times but are we sure it’s not a worldwide release?

honestly this pre-release has been so long… i swear to god if the release date is 3-4 months after preorder next time

same… i still haven’t listened to a single track from the record so i want my first experience to be integral HQ but god knows it’s hard, i feel like my patience has been put to the test so much with the album leaking gradually, and even now with candy necklace leaking only in LQ. by the way, i know the other tracks are HQ, but do you think there’s a noticeable difference with the quality of the official release?

exactly, that's what i thought too but if they think it might be reused they might not want to leak it, or maybe it's the opposite, they leaked dealer the second we learned it was going to be used for blue banisters lol, so maybe the fact that it's not meant to be reused makes them want to gatekeep it, anyway after 2021 and 2022 i think we as a fandom are past begging for unreleased songs
