I actually think Lana just put an Instagram filter on the back cover picture when she posted it to IG and Twitter LOL! I believe it was the “Slumber” filter - I figured from the start that both the front and back covers would be grayscale so it’s nice to know that that is the case!

I have yet to see the poster, so I’m still hopeful it’ll be nice, but yeah! A poster of Lana herself would be ideal

I have the NFR UO vinyl and I think the back cover and front cover are perfect together, but yeah, I totally thought the label in the centre of the pink vinyl would be a different picture lol! Since it was just the standard cover in the centre, they totally could have put the UO cover instead and it would have been perfect! I still absolutely love it though. A little thing, nonetheless, but I’m into the details for sure. I love the Neil cover so much and I feel like that cover really represents the contemplative nature of the album (based on the two singles I’ve heard and what I’ve seen people say online) but I totally thought the back cover would be another Neil pic lol! Guess we’ll find out soon! Exactly, queen! Thanks for your insight <3

Tbh I’m not sure if all that is true - first of all, it came from Twitter with no evidence, and second, all of her alternative vinyls have had a different cover design altogether from the standard editions. The NFR UO cover was completely different, as were the UV and HM ones!

So allegedly the Target/HMV vinyl’s back cover is the same as the standard cover and the poster included is a shot of the red car from the video (without Lana in it). Thoughts? The user allegedly was sent photos by their friend but wasn’t allowed to screenshot. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

I actually love her music! Her All or Nothin’ record is really bluesy and cool. My favourite songs are probably “Look Away”, “Right Time”, “Highway Queen” and my absolute favourite is “You Can’t Talk to Me Like That” - I’d suggest anyone to check those out!

Well...we’ve officially entered the business days of the release week! I love that feeling you get in the days leading up to a record’s release...only 90 hours and 45 minutes until it’s out!

What a fantastic interview! I really loved reading that! I especially loved what she said about the public’s confusion regarding her story and how that was a reflection of how they felt about their own authenticity, as well as how her boundaries in these times of “public entitlement” are ultimately what fuel people misunderstanding her. I’m also so intrigued about the “plan” they hinted at! And I guess we can conclude that she’s got a few more songs for the next album than we thought if she’s already got 2 titles in mind. I’m also super excited for the cover album and BTIG. All of those things being mentioned at once makes me wonder if they’re somehow connected to the “plan”? Maybe they’ll all be released relatively close to each other? Super excited for everything to come and loved the insight into her process for Chemtrails and future projects <3

Honestly, if there’s anything that’s really held true from seeing people’s opinions online, it’s this line from My Bedroom is a Sacred Place Now.... But what I love about Lana is that she doesn’t really care about serving anything or anyone except for the structure of the song that she sees hanging in the balances! I’m glad that the “fans” who are wanting her to be artistically stuck in an incredibly exaggerated version of a period she’s moved on from aren’t necessarily having their “expectations” met by her.

LOL! Carole King is for sure one of the world’s best songwriters and like Lana, she is a testament to the fact that good writing truly can shine with any production, even more organic production like Carole and Lana have done!

I know everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, but this just reads as people whining about the fact that they can’t relate to the persona that they probably enforced upon Lana and I feel like if anything, this being people’s perception of Chemtrails only makes it a record that is probably truest to who Lana is. The reception I’ve seen from fans outside of this site actually reminds me of the polarizing reviews people gave Lana in the beginning of her career.

Same! I’m also PST and even though I’ve experienced every Lana album release / other album releases I always second guess whether or not it’s coming at 9 PM for me!
