Tbh yeah it’s pretty weird most of these type of shows are set in high school, but also public school’s one of those few places where u would have all these very different types of people in the same space. People have been kinda running the “Euphoria can’t be set in college most of these people won’t graduate” joke to the ground but tbh it’s very true bsjjdj & I don’t think a character that got as much mess going on as Rue does would be actively going to college. So on one hand I do think the high school setting is weird, on the other hand it’s fictional not real fake so whatever. It would be very weird if they had actual teen actors tho but that’s not the case.

Making this thread cause omg HBO’s doing a new Degrassi show?? Idk if I’m even gonna like this I literally hated the netflix spin-off and idk if I ever even watched past season 12 of Degrassi: The Next Generation but I’m so excited about HBO doing it like that seems wild to me like I’m scared. Degrassi’s one of my fav shows the seasons with the OG (TNG) cast are so excellent. Very intrigued by this HBO version.

I mean why not. The show revolves around sex drugs and violence idk why they wouldn’t show it lol. They do show a Lot of nudity but nudity really isn’t a big deal imo (especially boobs). I don’t think they go that wild on the violence tho. They do show the aftermath and all that but I’ve seen way worse on other shows.

I was so sure there was gonna be a Lana song on this season cause it makes so much sense that there would be, but I never would've expected she would debut a song on this show. I have absolutely no expectations about how it's gonna sound tbh, it could go in all directions. I don't think that just cause it's Euphoria it's gonna be a more sultry song / one with beats or whatever. Euphoria's soundtrack has a pretty wide range, from songs like Cocky AF by Megan Thee Stallion to Every Single Night by Fiona Apple (which fit in so perfectly imo). It could very well be another piano driven slow song.

It's hitting me that this is my least favorite Lana album bsdjfh. It has some songs that are amazing to me like top level, but this is the first Lana album where there are several songs that I just don't care for. Songs like Dealer, Thunder, NOTG, Black Bathing Suit, IYLDNTM and Living Legend are amazing to me, absolutely love those songs, but songs like Violets for Roses and Beautiful are just not pleasent to listen to to me. And then you got songs like Text Book, Sweet Carolina, WFWF and the title track that I think are good songs but they really just don't compare to her other work. I'm never like "oh, I really wanna listen to Wildflower Wildfire right now!”. Also the fact that she included songs we've had for so long makes them less exciting to me cause I've already had my moment with them. At first I really liked this album as a whole, but the more I listen to it the more I'm just :// about it (as a whole). With COCC it's very different. I didn't like COCC as much as NFR but I find myself listening to COCC a lot, it's very replayable to me and I like it a lot, even though I think Blue Banisters has higher higs. So yeah, BB least fav Lana album. At the bottom.
