Reputation TV is the one I'm most curious about. Like, how is she gonna pull this one off. What's the cover gonna be like? What's the production going to be like? The vault tracks... It's really either gonna be Thee moment or a complete mess. She def has to bring back Max Martin to pull this one off, but judging by Red TV and Wildest Dreams TV I don't think she will. I think that Elvira girl she's been working with might be able to do to the Reputation tracks justice / breathe new life into them tbh, but if she's just gonna have some random producer remake the Rep instrumentals it's probably gonna be so underwhelming. Hm

Nothing since TOTL vol.2 has really interested me that much Reminds Me was a bad Clarity scrap Malibu was kinda mediocre & the structure's awkward Future Starts Now is way too long like I get sick of it while listening.. It could've actually been really good if she just cut it down & i usually never thing songs should be shorter Your Turn to Cry and Je T'Adore are cute but nothing special And Coconuts is just bad. It sounds like a cringey SNL skit. I know it's supposed to be a fun light song but that doesn't mean it has to be bad. There are a lot of fun non-serious pop songs that are actually very good. It's kinda sad cause Era 1 was amazing, TOTL was showstopping & Clarity was also very good imo.

I love the twinkly piano and the chorus of Beautiful, but absolutely hate the "what if somebody asked picasso not to be sad" line, and the way she says Picasso so it fits in the song, hate it. I looove the pre-chorus of Violets For Roses, it's so beautiful, but I hate the chorus. Such a bland chorus. I actually really like the title track tbh. Not my favorite LDR song but I def don't dislike it. Nectar of the Gods would've probs been higher if I haven't overplayed it since it leaked, love that song.

Kinda wild how Ayesha blew up & gained a whole tiktok fanbase 2+ years after she quit music & deleted all her stuff cause she didn't want to be famous. When she left she was still a pretty small soundcloud artist with a little bit of internet fame, like, she was literally on Lanaboards requesting the thread about her to be locked, but now the people I know IRL even know about her cause of tiktok. &people are still leaking her stuff & digging up stuff about her past. Basically everything she didn't want to happen (people still listening to her songs, using her as their profile pics, digging into her personal life, etc) happend. If she never left she would've been Big no doubts about it, but she obviously didn't want to be famous.

I thought solar power would've grown on me more by now but with time I started liking it less. I don't think it's a terrible album, I'd still put it on as background noise, but it's just so bland. Especially when you compare it to her last 2 albums. Like, it really has nothing going for it. I remember listening to it for the first time being so excited about the bridge of Fallen Fruit cause it had a beat lol, that's so sad. The Path also started out beautifully, an amazing way to start an album, but then halfway through the song just turns into Herbalife the musical.. I didn't expect her to top Melodrama, but I just expected more. & People can go on and on with their "this is a weed album, it's meant to be boring. you can't relate to it cause it's happy. your brain is too small to understand that acoustic guitar is far superior than synths!" but that really won't make the album any less boring lol. Going from an album as good as Melodrama to this is just tragic. Solar Power was a big disappointment.

I hope she does more of these short films in the future cause the All Too Well one was amazing. I also really love that version of the song, it does not feel 10 minutes long at all, which is a good thing.

I fear for 1989 TV and Reputation TV if she doesn't bring Max Martin back to redo the songs he did. He's probs very expensive to work with compared to other producers but remaking a literal pop master's instrumentals just doesn't work, it'll always sound cheaper.

He’s def an asshole I don’t like him but I just really don’t care enough to listen to (imo) an inferior version of the album so money goes to millionaire 1 instead of millionaire 2. Said this before already but they got enough money it really doesn’t matter lol. She’s taking ownership of her work & I think that’s great, most of her fans are gonna stream the re-recordings anyway so she’ll be fine if I don’t jshdjf.

I’m just gonna keep the vault tracks + girl at home tbh. The original Red is just better to me. These re-recordings are nice but the production of the original just sounds richer & more complete. The re-recordings kinda just sound like she’s doing karaoke covers of her own songs to fanmade instrumental remakes from youtube or something (good remakes tho, but it’s just not as good.) & I really don’t care about the Scooter mess enough to not listen to the original anymore

This album’s insane he rlly just started it out with Effeminacy like that like omg? Whenever Shygirl pops in to say like 1 word on it I lose my shit like the power she has… The production on every single song is Top Tier, especially on ‘All of Your Friends Think I’m Too Young for You’ he was so crazy for that. Lyrically the album’s also amazing tbh. Angel on My Shoulder (probs my fav song released this year) had me rethinking life like… &I Need Nothing from You & Um Um made me miserable .
