i have a theory. maybe if we all stop giving hype to all these modulated trash snippets the leakers will start to feel down and want attention more and just leak full songs. so maybe we should all just ignore every snippet from here on out and keep it moving until something meaningful happens. i hate these hoarding rat bitches

my hot take on the girls thing since i love controversy: i know plenty of not straight women who had issues with the song even before hayley said shit about it and honestly i gotta agree with them. song makes me fucking UNCOMFY since it really do feel like some shit to appeal to men. i feel like the song could've been saved if rita didnt put a bunch of straight chicks on it (looking at u, c*rdi) but it already happened so

After the Afterparty is a GOOD song some of y’all loved to trash it when it came out because it wasn’t a follow up to VV or More PC music as you wanted but Miss Charli still knows how to make pop perfection and that was IT. Should’ve taken off :/

I loved the part about boom clap in that podcast, ed howard really knows a hit when he sees it. I know we tend to hate atlantic for the album delays because they were too hung up on a hit, but you have to admire their drive as a label to always push for the most success their artists can achieve. It's clear they felt Charli could achieve more, but it just sucks how messy things got. 
     After the Afterparty actually makes me nostalgic now but it also doesn't feel real, it almost feels like it didn't happen. Surreal I guess. Like I know she performed it on Kimmel and the X Factor but it's just crazy to remember all the promo she did and the snapchat stories she'd post of getting ready to go on set, she was really going back into the ring and then everything else is a blur. Complaining about the delay, saying it's not delayed, teasing the party concept, that magazine interview where they described the songs, then another delay, then everything leaked. 
    I know we've played this (night a thousand times, in my dreams... a thousand times the same old story... ok im sorry, my brain just had to hit me with references) story out so many times, but does anyone feel the same way when they look back on 2016/2017??

Hey guys, I know I'm super late on this but I just wanna let you all know that the "Mess v2" that leaked was the version that I produced. It wasn't an official demo, neither Charli nor her team ever had a copy of it. I just reworked it myself and based it off of the live performances to give it a fuller sound. Clearly I'm sending things to the wrong people as this is the 2nd time someone's leaked something I produced and said it was "official" when it isn't. I'm flattered that people thought it sounded official though! Haha. I know a lot leaked during that time frame but if anyone happens to know the original person who leaked it, could you please let me know? I'd appreciate it.

Since Charli said she's planning to do something with Vroom Vroom records, imagine this:
She drops an EP titled Vroom Vroom: The Next Mile (credits to Khris for the name i think) where it's the same car except in glossy classic red and the background is red but the center glows white like there's a light behind the car. She's photoshopped leaning onto the hood of the car wearing her iconic red Exchange outfit and the tracklist goes
-TKO
-Taxi
-Up N' Down
-Blame It On Ur Luv (the 1st version)
-and the EP ends with that snippet that goes "what else could I do? cause I was moving along and walking alone when I found you", I imagine it to be like, an 80's heartbreak song, and she intimately sings that line right after the instrumental fades away to close off the EP (in that last line, the word "you" goes up in pitch instead of down so that it sounds really cute and dreamy, and it feels like a happy ending. Kind of like the way she sings the last line of True Romance.) 
 
and then for the 3rd EP titled Vroom Vroom: The Finish Line, the car is white and the background is white but it the center glows light blue to sort of highlight the car and reflect off of it (and the headlights glow light blue) and she's on the hood of the car in her iconic white tennis skirt, bra, rhinestoned XCX visor look. The tracklist is

- WGFU
- In The Darkness
- EP closes with the line "all I know is I don't deserve you" from White Mercedes.
 
OMG my mind really snapped, the girls are out here releasing their albums in 2 parts while Charli's doing a whole 3 part concept on her own label ugh only in an alternate reality 

This is totally unrelated but I was listening to I Wanna Be With U and Die 4 and I just started crying because I remembered my last two boyfriends and now I just want to stay in bed and cry.
