Exactly... and the constant use of slow motion doesn't work imo

One Little Indian Records has changed their name to One Little Independent Records after receiving a letter from a fan that detailed why the label name and logo are offensive. This should've been done a long time ago but I'm happy they did it now

The tinnitus and hearing in my right ear have really been the worst today so I spent hours doing research and making a Twitter thread on Björk and Finland - in which I will educate you on how Finnish flute music influenced her, how she covered a Finnish folk song at the age of 10 in 1975, her love for the Moomins and her concert history in our country of a thousand lakes. Enjoy

She attended a BLM protest in Reykjavík yesterday. Btw here's my Björk sim, be kind

The album is alright. It's nothing special but we already knew that. The demo of Free Woman was better and the version of Babylon used in the Haus Labs commercial is obviously superior to the one we got. Alice was a positive surprise and 911 is a bop. Sour Candy is very much like Girls Like by Tinie Tempah, almost too much but I've always liked the instrumental so I don't really mind. The real surprise of the album is Sine From Above, the track I considered doomed ever since we found out about the Elton feat. It's definitely the highlight of the record for me at the moment, the last 20 seconds are pure fire and I wish the whole record sounded more like that. Those last 20 seconds also remind me of Ride High (Gundam Remix) by WWWINGS. If you ask me the worst one is Fun Tonight, I also don't really care for Replay. I've listened the full thing several times now and if it was up to me, the tracklist would look like this 01. Chromatica I 02. Alice 03. Stupid Love 04. Rain On Me 05. Free Woman 06. Chromatica II 07. 911 08. Sour Candy 09. Chromatica III 10. Sine From Above 11. Babylon

So apparently they changed the name to X Æ A-Xii because of the Californian laws, or at least that is what she replied on Instagram
-
They finally announced the orchestral shows will be postponed with a year so I'm still seeing her
-
there's not many bad songs on the album yet they decided to make a video for the worst one possible, ok
-
putting it on the deluxe was totally unnecessary but hey that's nothing new in this business
-
Yup it is. Oh damn the orchestral part that starts around 1:50 is from The Lion King
-
It's on YouTube, would link but I'm on mobile
-
pink chromatica jockstraps now available!
-
SNL did a parody of Britney's Instagram posts, 1:59 onwards. It's so good I can't at the "I've been quarantined for five years now - and that's okay because all my favorite stuff is here" because isn't it pretty much true Anyways she really nailed it

I ordered the super set and I haven't heard anything about August. The UK store has no mention at the moment but at least the US store is shipping on May 29th or around the date.

Changed the cover art of my files, it looks so good and I'm listening to it now Maybe now that the bland cover's gone I can enjoy the album more, fingers crossed. Btw the tracks I've liked from the beginning are Invitation, Just Luv Me, Slumber Party (solo, I never even acknowledge the Tinashe feat), Just Like Me, Change Your Mind (NSC), Liar, Coupure Électrique and obviously Mood Ring

what the fuckkkkkk i thought it was fanmade when i first saw it on my twitter timeline, something about it feels off but it's definitely a million times better than the one we had

I've only listened to the leak once so far and I liked the verses, gonna start listening to it on repeat later. In other news, there's this guy who's claiming that Gaga's team copied one of his artworks in the recent promos and merch. The whole thing is ridiculous af but I guess he's enjoying his few minutes of fame (though mostly negative). In the last 24 hours he's gone from "I'm sure she'll find out about this soon and reach out to me" and "please don't send hate towards Gaga, I would be absolutely devastated if you sent her hate" to calling her out for copying Brooke Candy's look in the Genesis video, doing blackface and trying to make ARTPOP being the biggest flop in the history of pop music a thing. He doesn't deserve this attention but I've been so entertained by all of this, as if he actually stopped eating for a week so he could afford buying ARTPOP but ended up bitter because it wasn't full of new Bad Romances...

so the japanese site was correct

I thought the visuals for Nonbinary were cool so why didn't they use any of it for the single cover as well? I've seen a lot of fuss about the track so I listened to it but for me it really didn't go anywhere so tbh she has yet to impress me.

Definitely 10-20-40, Alterlife, Take Me as I Am and Cyber Stockholm Syndrome. A lot of people consider Cherry one of her best - if not the best - but it's a bit too overrated imo. - - - - - I realized I haven't done any Rina fan art yet so I started working on an illustration last night and I just finished it, y'all can check it out here. I also did one of those sorters on Tumblr last week and the results were 01. Tokyo Takeover 02. Comme des Garçons (Like the Boys) 03. XS 04. Who's Gonna Save U Now? 05. Tokyo Love Hotel 06. Snakeskin 07. Paradisin' 08. Akasaka Sad 09. Dynasty 10. Fuck This World (Interlude) 11. STFU! 12. Love Me 4 Me 13. Chosen Family 14. Bad Friend

they really are being that extra just for the sake of it grimes rn
-
we know she probably won't go back and we also know her commercial music isn't it so basically at this point she should just call it quits and join Clean Bandit. at least then she can flop in a group

Thanks! There's some more I've managed to get since posting that photo but yeah. At one point I was going to sort them by each era in their own folders but when I make playlists I like getting to each track quickly so that's how they ended up looking like that... I'm not really a fan of long folder names so I use the numbers even though it's probably not the best option. Btw y'all all of the music sold on Björk's official store is supposed to be 30% off except for the Utopia box set until May 15th. They sent a code on Friday but apparently they had some sort of a malfunction and the code doesn't work so they sent another e-mail and the shop is supposed to give you the discount without using any code. However I tried ordering some stuff yesterday and while the discount prices show up on their website, the prices went back to normal when I proceeded to check out. So I assume there's still something going on and I'm waiting for them to fix it...
