-
It's because she's not mumbling or heavily autotuned like on Madame X

Not a fan of Black Blessed Madonna but honestly it's better than the original

I went with BTD with Cruel World being my second option

Apparently the GAGA RADIO shows on Apple Music will each feature a new mix of a track from the album so fingers crossed for Haus Labs version of Babylon

I really wanna hear the Physical remix with Gwen Stefani but for some reason I'm nervous about Mark Ronson being involved... I hope he hasn't ruined the flawless production of the original

how exactly? she dropped the lead like a couple of weeks ago and we're getting the video this week (if i remember correctly?) so it's the usual for now

There's still no word on the Japanese release date so I guess I'm gonna have to start thinking about buying the golden LP and/or the digipack. I'd really like to have Tokyo Takeover on CD though bc it's one of the best tracks on the record and I feel like the record is very much incomplete without it

The rhythm of "You can't see - what - I - see / Cause you / Ha - ha / You feed on hurting me" with the reverb really is my favorite part of Violence idk if any of y'all get what i mean but yea

I recently moved to Helsinki next to a river descending into the ocean with a forest nearby and absolutely incredible outdoor possibilities. I've been taking long walks on nature trails, bays and islands on a daily basis and there really isn't anything better than walking in the nature while listening to Björk. So far I've been very keen on listening to Utopia - obviously - and Vulnicura. It started raining in the middle of my forest walk this morning as I was listening to Vulnicura and I didn't even mind getting wet as it really felt like a purifying experience, just walking on a trail in the rain accompanied by the strings and her layered vocals - until it started pouring so bad I actually started fearing for my phone (my clothes were soaking wet and I have a cracked screen) so I had to cut my walk short. But the tranquility is addicting. I've been laid off for nearly 5 months and of course my work starts just as the orchestral shows begin in a couple of weeks... I'm thinking of buying the streaming ticket and I'll probably just have my boyfriend screen record (or at least audio record) them for me in case I'm at work. I can't wait

Me too... I went to listen to my few favorites from NFR after I had listened to Violet for the second time and it just made sense in a way. I've only listened to the thing twice but I don't think I can really speak much on how I feel about the poems at the moment, as I should probably read them myself and I'll probably wait until the hardcover to do so. I will say that so far I've enjoyed listening to them more towards the end and the saxophone in the background during some of them is annoyingly distracting as I hate sax. SportCruiser is a highlight for me at the moment. On my second time I just laid on our bed under a blanket with eyes closed and her poetry reading is just so soothing to listen to

not gonna lie, i kinda feel bad for her. i'm also a bit entertained by people's tweets wondering how they're gonna listen to BWET from now on, how would y'all ever survive without Spotify? pirating (without torrents) truly is a skill. also disclaimer: i do not encourage to pirating despite the belief mentioned above as it is illegal and a crime and i have bwet on cd

i do have to admit that cover suits her personality of a clown

i'm just wondering if her shit of a dad will keep her locked up and drugged for the rest of her life... edit: but then again her staying home and filming these twirling videos is better than her being forced to do shows not seeing a dime of the profits
