Lana is enjoying it, and is not a label puppet as some fans tried to portray her as. Don't be so bitter, she loves the song and said in the interview that she was nervous to record a track she loves so much.

The interviewer said he would be terrified to cover a Sublime song so she responded saying YES, she was so nervous to cover a Sublime song BECAUSE she loves that album so much!

She was scared of criticism. Ultimately, she made the right decision!

Not a label puppet like some of her fans try to disgustingly portray her as.

But u said BTD fans have no credibility and cannot participate in discussions regarding NFR. Yet, Sal Cinquemani rated the album u consider to be so horrible, the same as the one u consider to be her best.

Higher than Ultraviolence and Honeymoon? Tied for her best score ever? I'll take it.    I wanted 4.5/5 but it's still great coming from Slant.

BTD, which u have always said is complete garbage aside from Video Games & is her worst album, got the same score as NFR. Thoughts on that? 

In the new interviewm she says that for the last 4 years she was only writing in the studio. But now says she has already started writing again at home just months after finishing Norman.

Well, BTD is a great album. I laugh at how some fans here were so hellbent on bringing BTD down only to find out that NFR was given the same rating as BTD, and by the same journalist, no less. Whew.

Interesting considering they also gave 4/5 stars to BTD (an album fans love to bash, especially during this era).

So both BTD and NFR received the SAME ratings from the SAME publication AND the same journalist is responsible for rating BOTH of these albums equally.

Very interesting compared to the 3.5/5 they gave UV & the 3/5 for HM.

Love her voice on the title track. 

I've predicted this months ago. It's a matter of time until some people around here start switching and praising LFL to bring NFR down. The same thing happened when LFL was released so

um, you're confused. have you listened to the entirety of BTD? almost SEVERAL lyrics were reused in the majority of that album. also, Old Money was literally a laptop demo from when she was living in the trailer park. i think you also forget the amount of times this woman said "blue" on Honeymoon. whew!

I said Lana did not start recycling sounds until LFL era. 

I suspect to see this occur quite a lot over the next few months. This is how LFL went down.

if your main concern is re-usage of Lana;s lyrics, baby, you might as well unstan cause you're up for a lot disappointment when her next album rolls out. x

Lana did not start recycling sounds until LFL, with Cherry being the BTD reject of that era.

you have literally grabbed everyone and anyone that has said ANYTHING about the album by every fiber of hair on their head. fighting over opinions is ridiculous, you can't convince someone to change THEIR opinion. i mean they could literally say "Cinnamon Girl" and you'd write a four page essay on how you didn't like the production or lana's breathing stability in the song... like.... sis

Cinnamon Girl is a BTD reject with stale lyrics derived from Is This Happiness and Sad Girl. 

I love the record so much but I'm kinda feeling like "Is that it?". Like all the songs leave me waiting for more, they don't really HAPPEN. I don't know it's a weird feeling.

Here we go. The novelty is slowly diminishing. Just like it did for LFL. U called it her magnum opus just a couple days ago.

Aren't u the person who said that we shouldn't talk about Lana's substance usage despite her being very open about it in interviews + her art (even her recent song, FIILY), simply because there's "young children" on here? When they actually just shouldn't be listening to Lana's music period?

Combative is that Jared person who constantly undermines fans of every other Lana album aside from the current one at the given time 

Anyhow, let me go back listening to AOTY and Lana's magnum opus, NFR. See ya later. (Hopefully Ultraviolence and Honeymoon stans can come up with more convincing conspiracy theories until then)

The desperation of Honeymoon and Ultraviolence stans is something else. 

U place faith in critics when Lust for Life is her second highest rated album on Metacritic, a point away from Honeymoon. U are something else indeed, Schoolboy Q stan.

i don't know if this is an unpopular opinion but i absolute LOVE this line, and i especially love the way she sings in

Her voice on the title track in general is very nice, warm and engaging. I like the little nuances throughout it.
