Ok this release is pretty cool, love how the cover looks on the disc and cd. I wish the vinyl would've been a dark green like the leaves or a more orangey cream

Omg all these goddamn news!!! I've just now caught up with this thread a little bit and it's definitely very exciting the encoding of COCC for her website pretty much confirms it's coming september 4th/5th so thank god for no more shakey release dates lol (I mean it still might be the case for some chaos, we don't know but ) It's nice Violet is finally gonna be released and the timing with the album promotion seem to line up like a dream. Did Lana actually plan stuff this time wow who would've thought

Let's hope she saw how much love Venice Bitch got and decided to go full beachy, soft-rock psychedelia. I want 7 different guitars, sad alien synths, her vocals to reach more than literally 5 notes, some fucking bridges and some HARDER HITTING DRUMS for god's sake Also some horns or other weird instruments in the background to make it richer and more immersive but I think I'm asking too much

I love the Honeymoon font. The huge Lana del rey in bold red throws me off. Maybe her name and the album name both in the honeymoon font and made a bit smaller, or just the album name. I am not a fan of big lettering on album covers in general. Now, almost all of her covers have that big lettering but on her first 3 albums it kinda works cause she's also really up close and takes a lot of space on the cover. With HM, it's just all amplified by the additional big lettering on the car and Lana being so tiny.

The thing with the HM cover for me it's that it feels too empty. There's huge, giant letters at the top and the bottom (on the car) and the middle is just a tiny Lana. On top of that, the sky looks pretty boring. It perfectly reflects the mood of the album (not saying it's boring lol, You know what I mean) but I would've LOVED some other photos from that shoot as the cover 'cause that shoot is amazing, probably one of her best, again, thank you Neil. (of course she chose Chuck's pics ) Or maybe the same concept but with a closer angle and Lana looking down from that stance and the sky takes the majority of the pic with some cool ass cirrocumulus or cirrostratus clouds and with Neil's magic colours that fit Lana so well.

I've been just liking posts here and saying nothing for the last days like a creep lol. I guess I just don't know what to expect while also knowing what to expect, it's weird. I really can't see how she can take her sound in a new direction from NFR giving that she's still working with Jack and aside her break-up from Sean, she seems to be in the same mindset to me. Yes, every album of hers has been different than the previous ones but this time I really don't feel like things are gonna change at least sonically. And if my pessimist self is proven wrong and they do change, I really don't know how. So I'm conflicted. Where do you guys stand on that?
