okay so Don’t Kill My Vibe is lowkey garbage so I steered clear of this girl for the longest time, but Strangers is THAT song goddaaaaaamn. Plot Twist is good, too.

Did the good sis forget that she’s going to be selling an album in like four days or is there a reason why there aren’t preorders for it anywhere?
-
Is she going to follow-up the best album of 2016 with the best album of late 2017 or early 2018? She better. In the lord’s name, I pray. Amen.

I'm still simmering about the fact there's no CD. I just gonna have to buy the vinyl soon. I'm still simmering about the fact there's no CD. I just gonna have to buy the vinyl soon.

OH MY GOSH POST THE PICS I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU
-
Same here The SoundCloud user posted that he's trying to get them reuploaded but we'll see

Thought I'd stop by this thread to say that their new album is, like, stellar. Damn. White Noise doesn't even stand a chance against it.
-
She finally done did it. Look at her go

I quite enjoy this guy's album. Very thought out.
-
Album of the summer right here omg
-
omfg I both love and hate that this thread exists.
-
I've never happier than I am right now about these instrumentals. What a damn fine set of productions here.
-
I've started to listen to her record. It's enjoyable so far!

This album is, in fact, superb. Everyone Else, Non Believer, Oh Woman Oh Man, and Wild Eyed ended me.

Kind of, kind of not. https://twitter.com/imaustinbye/status/871780138580664320

hi just a quick reminder that the Lovesick instrumental is one of the most important tracks to ever exist so many subtle elements going on in there that you can't hear under her voice on the album and it's very important

PSA: the deluxe CD copy is beautiful. It doesn't have "deluxe edition" spread across the bottom and comes in a matte digipak.
-
Y. E. S. It not only expands her sonic horizons, but also exemplifies her personal character development since the writing of the Goddess tracks. I feel like most people have ignored the fact that The Altar paints a picture of a MUCH stronger, MUCH more confident Jillian Banks. And it shows through every element of the album and this era's live performances.

What a track What an artist What a queen
-
Swish Swish's instrumental is a beautiful nod to europop / gay discotheque, and it's kind of everything I was expecting Gaga would deliver with Joanne but didn't. The melody line is so stagnant, though, because it's mainly talking. Nicki is more intimidating than Katy in the song, to be honest.

The song is still banging, and this tweet suggests a linkage between Chained to the Rhythm and Bon Appétit, strengthening my suspicion that the face-value shallowness of this track actually will make sense in the context of the full album https://twitter.com/katyperry/status/863199411181985792

The images. The music. The everything.

We all do My friend and I just got our LIVES from this queen's music again during a car ride the other day.

Bon Appétit is a bop, let's not lie to ourselves. A very shallow bop that lacks the depth of CTTR but a bop nonetheless
