I liked this Doin Dime performance, I admit the sound mixing is bad but I like the way they play the song. But I don't like Break Up With Your Girlfriend, it sounds too clean to me -
<3 I LOVE this record so much with 7 too

And what a great concept, the whole record is excellent. but what's the difference between Cry Baby's concept and K-12 one ? it looks so recycled

I watched the movie too, I'm very mixed, as I already said, the album is too much like Cry Baby, but the visuals of that movie < <<< Cry Baby videos. She's a great dancer (detention was hot as hell), but nobody acts well, and the story is non-existent. I truly ask myself, isn't there a problem with that same edgy child thing after all this years since Cry Baby ? The public grew, it's cringy now. Btw I listened to the album multiple times, and I got to admit that it's a record I love but hate a little bit too. I like the rythm and the harmony of it.

I never really loved BAR but this album version transcends me. I do agree with the fact it's a climax on the album (and I can't understand how it can be called a 'calm' song). This album is a masterpiece and I hope it will leave its mark in music. NFR>Lana's previous records -
I don't really like the album on my first listening, it's too cliché and too sinister for me. (Even if I listen to Cry Baby a lot) But some tracks hold my attention (Lunchbox Friend is a master banger, Class Fight is very good, Orange Juice is greatly simple), most of the chorus are efficient, but the songs in their whole are way too much, I dislike most of the verses (and the cinematic noises are so irritating on the album I think - Nurses Office is horrible because of that, Wheels on the Bus is cheesy as fk). There's a Cocorosie feels sometimes but I dislike the mixture of it in pop music. I feel like she's too close to Cry Baby, there's a real lack of surprise, I think it's way too homogenic.

So, except the different mix of FIILY, is there something else different in the album version ? -

Is the album version of FIILY different than the single version ? I didn't noticed the guitars in the album one (but I listened to it on my big hi-fi so maybe it was layered in the background) -

I love the fact that every song is my favorite. Happiness Is A Butterfly, NFR and California made me feel so good. I really do prefer this version of How To Disappear than the live version (I really don't understand what people were talking about when the snippets went out). + This version of The Next Best American Record is such a banger. I panicked and took 4 editions : Blue Vinyl, Casette, CD standard (no poster in the Fnac one finally) & CD Uncensord that I'll recieve tomorrow. I love that every object have a different design. -
