Velvet Dreamig is seriously underrated. I've skipped it a lot because of the intro with the movie scene screaming, but the song is so chill and the lyrics are cute. It's maybe the best song on Super Ultra after Glow? (And maybe Forgiveness)

Pearl is SLAYING me. She's like a high fashion, trade version of Sharon Needles and im jut living for everything about her. I want to like Trixie but her makeup is SO terrible... I know that's her thing but it's too hideous, I wish she toned it back just a bit. She's like a combo of Milk and Adore though, I dig her stye and personality. Also Ginger Minj seems funny. Jasmine Masters needs to go home. I was appalled she wasn't in the bottom 2. She's just the worst. Tbh idk how to say this without sounding racist, but none of the black girls are good this season... Edit: wait why does everyone keep talking about episode two? Did it leak? I wasn't sure what the general reception to the album is, but I think Shrines was better overall... Begin Again is amazing and got me really hyped but overall I think the new album is weaker than it could've been.

You really think so? I'm flattered. When she released Electra Heart I was just starting to get into Charli, and since Marina took such a long hiatus after EH and during it kept making "sellout" moves and coming off as more contrived, I hopped on Charli as my new fave. But I would definitely say Marina is back full force. She is undeniably the queen of pop.

Honestly I like the lyrics of gold a lot and it's really cute, but I'm not the hugest fan of the production. It's almost a little too... Idk.. Western? Idk why I get that vibe, but because of all the gold rush references I imagine like a desert. I don't really know how to describe it.

Lyrically I think Forget has the most impact on me (excluding Happy). Really listening to the lyrics, it's a great lesson that Marina clearly learned first hand. It is important to forget about the past and stop stressing or being bitter about how things could've been.

Gold Coins? Really? I'm done with the Sucker era if she sleeps on Famous... That's honestly the only song on the album I could see becoming a hit...

Yeah the lyrics of Sucker are kind of shit, especially the first verse... But thankfully the chorus is catchy and punchy enough to make it a great song for the gym!

Side Note: the most redeeming quality of Weeds is definitely the guitar solo. I really dig it. I also like the line "I miss all of my exes, they're the only ones who know me, and god knows that sex is a way to feel a bit less lonely". I think what makes Weeds mediocre is the chorus... The verses and that guitar solo are amazing.

Yea imo the only redeeming quality of the lyrics is the "magic in our veins" and "blood" lines, because I think those are very Charli lines, and it gives it a bit of character.

Exactly. It's interesting that songs some people think are the best (Blue, Savages, Solitaire) are thought to be the worst by others. I think every song on the album is great. Except Weeds which is good but seems like the obvious weakest track.
