Not the fake edit of Drama Club final vocals over piano encoded in december 2020 at the earliest
-
She knew the theme because it leaked in late 2013, shortly after she wrote Carousel. She pitched it back then, and then FX contacted her about it 2 days before the commercial aired.
-
Personally, I would have liked an album where she leans more into the Dead To Me vibe and uses a magic witch-esque concept (a deviation from the childhood stuff but still fitting within the Cry Baby universe); I don't know how I feel about a spiritual inner growth album? Definitely expecting a lot of astrology nonsense.

They're all rent-a-rapper randoms, it's not that deep
-
No, I'm convinced she had no idea wtf she was trying to sing about on that leaked demo; The final is still about Johnny not showing up to her party, just like Pity Party. I guess it's more in-line with It's My Party then, in the sense that there are guests at her party but all she cares about is her boyfriend.

Well Allie's first meeting with him was when they wrote Troye's Plum in 2017; Love Me Wrong was made in 2018 specifically for the Boy Erased soundtrack and written from the perspective of that film's protagonist, and then it was considered for Super Sunset but rejected because it didn't fit the sound. That's why it ended up on Cape God.
-
2017 tracks are generally either pitch demos, or songs for CollXtion III; That album was scrapped and transformed into Super Sunset after she made NSBILA around December 2017, and then she came up with the idea for Cape God after her first (or second if you count Troye's Bloom album) session with Oscar Gorres in March 2018. If For Real actually is 2017 and Oscar Gorres, then it's probably a Bloom reject; Idk tho! People could be lying on these Dbree posts.

I don't think anybody knows, the link is to the original file she uploaded for pitching(?). Also, if anyone's interested, my friends and I came to the conclusion that the newly leaked Purge demo is older than the voice memo, and it might have been the same sessions as the snippeted OHDH demo at some point in 2015. They use similar vocal filters and both have rougher, unfinished lyrics. Allie confirmed at CLXII's rollout that she never finished Purge, and I assume she just taped the Unsolved version to give an idea of the song without uploading an early rough demo. Same thing she did with Casanova.

I think that if Cuca intended on leaking the full song, he would probably do it directly on Soundcloud instead of a random snippet. It was probably somebody else who got mad that the song was teased.

PLEASE that was Bip Ling's resume, someone hacked her

I can't hear you over Field Trip

I always think it's so weird how people claim it was an acoustic EP, even though she explicitly confirmed this concert was a preview of what it would sound like:
-
Well, contrary to what I was saying a month ago, Dollhouse was never it's own project; Cry Baby's album title was announced in January 2014 and the EP was just a preview of what the album would've been. So all those tracks you named are Cry Baby. A Thousand Words was written for Melanie's scrapped EP from 2013, but it was also considered for Cry Baby.
-
Track 10 deserves all the lashings possible for being an ugly remix of a cute pop song
-
By this logic, I don't know how songs like Mrs. Potato Head and Mad Hatter are able to exist...
-
We deserve Gold Diggin Love

I doubt most of what's been circulating would have been eligible for a Coloring Book tracklist; Melanie settled on the Cry Baby album title in January 2014, just 4 months after writing the first song for the project (Dollhouse). And the only songs from that time frame that were considered after establishing the childhood theme were probably Dollhouse, Carousel and Cry Baby. Keep in mind that she didn't commit to the "every song has a nostalgic/childhood title" concept until mid 2014, when she recorded 99c Store, Alphabet Boy, Pacify Her, Pity Party, Teddy Bear, etc.
-
Coloring Book was one of 4 considered album titles (Animal Crackers, Toy Chest, Cry Baby) during a point in time where the album didn't have a storyline and the toy sounds-based production was a bigger factor. This was mid-January 2014 at the very latest. I doubt that there was a tracklist. This is a lie!
-
Animal Crackers does not exist; She confirmed it was just a reference to Shirley Temple.
-
Ava's kinda the epitome of legit uncreative generic manufactured pop girl; I don't think she can offer anything to a Charli XCX song.
-
Someone could tell me that there's a reject spreading that samples the Spongebob theme song and I would believe them

TR: Cross You Out Sucker: Babygirl N1A: Femmebot XCX: White Mercedes P2: Claws Charli: Waterfall HIFN: Thoughts
-
It's better than HIMF and Charli
-
And we thank her for that
-
I dare to say it's her best project; Aged wonderfully, sound still holds up, every song slaps, etc. I really don't get why people see it as such a bad thing to like Sucker, I assume because of it being the pop 'sellout' era. Same thing with Electra Heart!
