Every video this era so far is just SO FREAKIN SLOW. In fact, there is hardly anything going on . And in all of them Lana herself looks so bored half of the time, that you'd think she will fall asleep in her own video. Disappointing and totally ruining her reputation as an artist who knows how to bring her music alive through visuals.

I agree with you on Brooklyn Baby. ITH profits from the mood she creates in the song, the lyrics are not her worst, but also not her very best. It's really not outstanding. Black Beauty goes on for over 5 minutes and after the half of the length she doesn't have anything new to add to the song than just repeating the chorus. The part in Old Money where she sings about her mother and her glamour is way too kitsch for my liking. However, lyrically she has not topped Born To Die or Off To The Races on this album. Sometimes I feel that Lana really lacks the talent for interesting song structures and mood shifts in songs, except West Coast and Off To The Races. Her songs are pretty straight forward. Combined with all the repetition in her lyrics, it can become pretty tiresome after a while.
