  1. thank you! this means i'll forever want those in studio format even if they actually might not exist
  2. @BlackoutZone has there ever been a recorded studio version of Hey Blue Baby, Stupid For Being So Happy, or Heart Shaped Box? or are our dreams forever crushed?
  3. we would understand tho! i promise, we'll all act right (if there's something you don't wanna answer/can't answer, we'll live with it) please please please pleeeeeeaseeee
  4. this is why we should have like a 2-3 hour AMA for boz at some point. there's so much tea we need to know about lmaooo
  5. omg can we set up a BOZ AMA on here? bc there's so much info i'd love to ask about but i know he'll leave just as i ask
  6. i NEED this demo to be leaked some day
  7. i love how this thread is just the lanaboards equivalent of a tabloid with nothing to talk about
  8. someone did it again! https://music.apple.com/us/album/secret-love-club-ep/1636840510 https://music.apple.com/us/album/my-best-days/1629017984?i=1629017985 https://music.apple.com/us/album/yes-to-heaven/1640066565?i=1640066716 Except, this time, it's covers of Yes To Heaven, Flipside, My Best Days, Wild One, and Backfire.... and the instrumentals all have lana's vocals badly filtered out, you can still hear Lana in the background at times lol.... wait there's actually more covers of unreleased lana songs on apple music. how has this been allowed on apple music but some other bootlegged stuff that WAS on apple music keeps getting pulled? like Camel and a few other artists interestingly enough, here's a "metal" pseudo grunge cover of yes to heaven lol https://music.apple.com/us/album/yes-to-heaven/1658683192?i=1658683193
  9. i was bored and it was kinda fun anyway, i usually don't get into much drama here
  10. miley is boring now so oh well, she can keep her album. i'll be listening to something better
  11. so you finally get the point of the thread! it took some time but you came around we love character development here! so which songs were those ripping off? or did someone else rip those songs off? either way, i'd be interested to hear the opposite of the rip off, etc. (while not necessarily a rip off, I do think Money and Easy Money are very similar, but I also hate Robert Fripp as a person, even though his music was still important for the time)
  12. i'm so sorry hearing is a problem for you, considering this is a music-centric forum. i would definitely get my ears checked if i were you. in fact, i'll leave you with a list of greats that even you with your hearing issues might enjoy
  13. this is silly. i could sit here and name off artists, but it doesn't matter. you can continue thinking pink floyd is a godsend or whatever complex you have for them, but they simply ripped off a song by the lyricist of some of cream's best songs. it simply is what it is. clean your ears girl! it literally doesn't mean much and your opinion really doesn't matter. i sent the song to a few other people and they noticed it too. i didn't tell them anything about what i thought it sounded like and they immediately knew what it was similar to, so clearly it isn't just me. one of those people has owned a record shop for 20+ years, so you tell me... lol
  14. girl you sure? because i heard this immediately and you choose selective hearing because you're a floyd stan. like i said, i love floyd and they do have original content, but roger waters is a shit and this sadly doesn't surprise me at all.
  15. the selective hearing from a floyd stan doesn't surprise me. don't get me wrong, i love floyd and have been a huge fan since i was in high school (my stoner days) but it really disappointed me, hearing something that came out 3 years before dark side of the moon and hearing that the melody was ripped off. it's the exact same song. i'm not saying it's the wah wah pedal or synths, literally listen to the song and sing the floyd lyrics over it, it's not that hard. if you still can't hear it you need one of these
  16. she made a comment saying "what to let go?" so she's manifesting being a slut lmao
  17. i wonder if they ever acknowledged it? i see someone commented about lana on their video lol i don't hear it (but i hate can't fight the moonlight so i'm glad there's another reason!) lol jk i really don't hear it, but maybe it's just me. the song i mentioned in the OP my bf had listened to and didn't up on it until i pointed it out lmaooo
  18. So I was driving around with my bf today and he found something on Soulseek lastnight that someone had told him to listen to. He thought it sounded like Bowie so on our way to lunch today, he played it in the car and I noticed something more intriguing... the song is called Thousands On A Raft by by Pete Brown & Piblokto! (1970) and initially when I heard it, I started singing the song it sounded even more similar to... which wasn't Bowie. It sounds nearly identical to Brain Damage by Pink Floyd (1973). It turns out Thousands On A Raft came out three years BEFORE Floyd's record dropped. For comparison, he's the songs in question: Adding to the OP. Some think it's also similar to Us & Them by Pink Floyd (same record) which doesn't surprise me. Also, come to think of it, both albums were released on the same label so it wouldn't be surprising to me if they did hear this album before making theirs. Have you ever heard a song that's like this? One that's almost exactly identical? There's also the situation with Stairway To Heaven ripping off Taurus by Spirit. They don't have to be Lana or necessarily pop music either (pop music is harder to rip off anyway these days, it used to be easier to rip off more obscure songs/albums back in the 60s/70s because there was a lot of less heard of music that even now, I'm still discovering randomly.)
  19. honestly? i've vote for my left testicle to be removed before i voted for one of them for anything.
  20. no, but they’re larger words, that typically aren’t in a bridge, let alone a lot of songs.
