  1. Some kind of cross between JFK and On Our Way. Chill, relaxed, yet beautiful at the same time. I feel like JFK could’ve been redone for NFR and it would’ve sounded HEAVENLY, if she redid it for WHF i’d die. The bridge on that track always gets me in my feels. Or even the final version of 1949 bc of the guitars, just plucking with her voice and the quiet drums in the background. I’d love that. Which reminds me of Your Girl in a way which has more of an orchastral sound that i’d like to hear again, too... If there’s any hip hop beats, i want something lyrically like Dum Dum Idk if i’m thinking about comparing the next record with her unreleased stuff, there’s so many sounds i want her to play around with again that she’s ONLY scratched the surface of.
  2. I don’t remember it from any unreleased. I could be forgetting but so far IIRC it’s completely new maybe something like “you’re gonna love me i’m gonna make you” ?
  3. That was the point with NFR tho, she didn’t want it to feel overproduced. I actually disliked the decision to include Doin Time on it rather than including LFA on it. Even if it was for the digital version. It sounds more like the album than Doin Time does, which seems like the most overproduced track on the record. I don’t dislike Doin Time i just dislike the decision for the album
  4. I don’t agree. I feel like between Freak & Art Deco, it has a continuity but it ends there. That was the point it feels like the album stops being as continuous and strung together. 24 and Salvatore were both... eh, there’s a reason they didn’t use 24 for Bond. Swan Song is good but at this point looking back, Swan Song is so similar to other stuff. I just really like DLMBM out of the last 4-5 tracks on that album. Scratch that i liked The Blackest Day but it could’ve been easily fit onto UV but as much as i liked it, it’s forgettable Dan Auerbach has better production skills than Rick imo
  5. I really like the name for WHF. It reminds me of her unreleased stuff and the fact we have a song title already from it, or probably 2. •White Hot Forever •Let Me Love You Like A Woman
  6. good catch, i’ve not heard of this or noticed this anywhere but maybe i haven’t been looking. i wonder if it was left off of NFR or if it’s entirely new. when she said a few tracks were left off, it made me wonder how many and what they were and now i wanna know if they were left off for WHF well and considering she’s going to surprise drop it or wants to at least, i don’t expect any singles from this album pre-album release
  7. idk about this whole fight and don’t care, but according to Pitchfork’s ranking, his original post you quoted wasnt wrong. You aren’t wrong either, though, to an extent. BTD is her most streamed album & most sold album, BUT, that doesn’t mean it is her best album. Same thing with NFR being the highest ranked album since 2014, and highest ranked album from a female artist this decade, according to Pitchfork. Just bc you think it’s flawed doesn’t change that critic’s opinion and just bc it didn’t sell the most doesn’t mean it’s the worst album by her either. Simply get over yourself & your holier than thou attitude please. That’s getting as old as him screaming “ITS THE BEST THING EVER ITS THE BEST” that’s annoying as shit too. Bc it’s simply not true. just bc your opinion is ~-•dIfFeRnT•-~ doesn’t validate it. also being a dick about it doesn’t work i’ve been trying to figure out what “obvious flaws” people hear??? i’ve read that being thrown around but seriously like what? what’s so obvious bc i’m missing it
  8. have you heard those folk albums???? omg
  9. “I know I wanted all this in the beginning, I really tried I know I caught you at a not-so-happy time of your life... My dreams are bigger than your junkie pride” and from Try Tonight “When he enters all of the lights go dim...” “A dark room in the nighttime Is how he spends all his time If he could go on without your help Then he would do it all by himself But I don’t think he got strength to muster And he don’t got a lot, lackluster” “He’ll try tonight to not get high but he will”
  10. would you guys be upset if Lana opened the next album with a cover of Back To Black since Get Free on LFL ended with “Out of the black into the blue” and then NFR was the ‘blue’ and then she’s gone back to black. it’d be such a good placement for a cover of that track
  11. Cruel World West Coast Born To Die Million Dollar Man Do Right Us Against The World Freak Religion Norman Fucking Rockwell Pretty When You Cry Fuck It I Love You California The Greatest Doin Time Summertime (Joplin version) Back To Black (Winehouse cover) Swan Song Flipside
  12. i don’t know what i even thought the lyrics were but i just recently learned she says “Officer Brown’s always comin’ around” and especially when she says “keep hustlin’ every night and day” i always sang “keep em slim every night & day” hahaha which i figured went with the other song where she says pro-ana nation or i figured it could’ve meant slim cigarettes
  13. i got one too!!! i love it i’ve got it put in my LDR shrine hahaha
  14. hahaha i got the black hoodie, the one where she’s painted in blue. i love it and the reference to the record ugh it’s so genius
  15. i emailed them 3 times and only got a reply the second time i emailed them and then got my shipping email on Friday afternoon
  16. it actually seems bigger than i expected. i usually order large bc i like bigger hoodies but it seems like what should be an XL and that’s fine with me anyway it says when you go to the site that the store will open soon but honestly i don’t believe it will until her next round of pop ups maybe next year when the next album comes. this is the first time she had it online isn’t it? bc she had pop ups back during HM and LFL i believe but not online
  17. Bad Boy & Paris were actually the same melody, specifically the chorus the “baby say goodnight text me when you get home safely” and “baby ghetto love” parts does Big Bad Wolf and Hot Hot Hot count? Scarface & Noir Disco & Let My Hair Down (since they were done during the same session) Junky Pride & Theres Nothing To Be Sorry About
  18. that date format had me thinking this was from March..... wtf lol i need to hear the outtakes from this record
  19. so this changes the song in relation to who it’s about. it goes with Honeymoon (track) with “Mr Born To Lose” and California, “scared to win, scared to lose” which means it’s Barrie for sure i think. he’s the Norman fucking Rockwell who was obsessed with making the best american record. fuckkkkkk i like it a lot now even more so knowing the actual words. it keeps it consistent and cohesive
  20. has she sang Fuck It I Love You live yet? she seems to not like it as much as some of the other tracks since the video came out
