this might be true but i don't think we expected much from florida in terms of flipping. maybe if you follow some political influencers, but reality is it's most likely staying red (even though everyone i know voted blue... but we'll see.) remember, there's a lot of old people who don't work and probably are voting now or already voted so the next several hours, as younger people go out to vote, will be more likely to vote blue. there's still several hours to go so we'll see but it's not looking like florida will go blue imo

I mean this in the nicest way, but voting Kamala is the best thing you can do for your friends who are Muslim and Palestinian and voting third party at this stage is voting for Trump. Trump will handle the Gaza/Israel situation way worse than Biden and Harris has and Harris has come out saying there needs to be a ceasefire. And if you're in PA, it's dire we don't start a fight for a third party/5% of the vote thing right now when so much is at stake. I know you know this stuff but i can't stress it enough, we NEED your vote. it could be the matter of Trump winning again and it getting much worse internationally and domestically. make your decision based on what you feel you should do, but please please PLEASE keep her in mind when you vote. i get being upset about how it's been handled and I agree with you it should be handled better, but now isn't the time to make this election a single issue election, i don't think. it's about right and wrong and if he gets in there, it's going to be worse than it is now for us in the US and those in other countries. Kamala has called for a ceasefire on multiple occasions throughout the year but unfortunately, she isn't president so she can't really do much except advise Biden what she would do. whether he takes that into consideration is out of her control. i think she'd be much better for the middle east and international affairs in general but that's just my opinion

i didn't realize there were so many physical collectors here, i don't feel so weird now when i think about it i don't have a PS2 anymore (my sister has it i think?? not sure) but I have a PS3 so Ive been buying PS2 games to be able to play on PS3 with a mod, i think there's a way to rip the disc to a PS3 hard drive and play them but idk. i just have them for fun tho and have the roms on my PC anyway to emulate but it's still fun to use real hardware on my tv and play my games. i got the GTA PS2 trilogy recently and GTA 4 for PS3. i'm guilty of double dipping on some things too, like i have red dead redemption on switch and PS4

Do you buy physical media in any way? This could relate to video games, movies, cds, vinyl, books, etc. Personally I've been collecting physical Switch and PS5 games and some movies I think are classics and should be bought physically so it can't be pulled from streaming or anything. I also collect some books and vinyl that I think are top tier albums I need to have and top tier books I think are special to me. One day, I see myself having a media library room in my house with bookshelves of horror/thriller and animation, books, and games that are nostalgic or special in certain ways.

I did Cyberpunk earlier this year and have The Last of Us Part 1, but not 2 (I just need to go back and finish a second playthrough, basically) and am starting work on Resident Evil 4 remake. I'm torn between achievement hunting on Steam vs PS5 because I have almost all my completions on PS, but just moved to Steam recently. Idk!! I also did Hogwarts, Horizon Forbidden West, and a few others. Assassin's Creed 2, Odyssey, and Valhala too and all 3 Spidermans I'm about to buy Forza Horizon 4 on Steam before it goes away since it's getting de-listed in December.

I think you're right mostly and if I made a map, mine would look similar if not identical. I think it's going to be tight in MI, PA, and WI, however, it'll stay blue (a lot of red voters moved to Florida after the 2020 election, also went to Texas, and some to GA.) After they started redlining voting areas in GA, I can't tell exactly what happened with that in 2021/2022 and if it was stopped because they had a lot of pushback for their efforts, but it wouldn't be surprising to see it flip red again. I've seen some stuff online about NC flipping because they have some really bad, Nazi/Nazi-adjacent guy running there so seeing it turn blue would make a lot of sense, if people have a conscious. If the third parties and a small handful of republicans can be flipped, we'll see NC go blue and that'll push it over. It'd be nice to see a full blue map. Either way, I'm afraid of what's to come once the election's over, it could push society over a precipice towards a... bad situation. Idk. I'm just afraid we'll see January 6 again x2 or x10 or something crazy. We know republicans aren't capable of accepting loss and if Trump wins, that means fascism... fuck.
