  1. Let The Light In really is that bitch. I can't believe this has almost been an entire hour and 18 minutes. the beginning of Margaret reminds me of something else from NFR, I couldn't tell what it is. but it's such a cute song, I didn't expect to like it as much as i do. i think it reminds me of How To Disappear for some reason and another NFR song. i'm telling yall, this album kind of slays better than what I expected from her thus far into her career. i mean, i wanna say i expect high quality shit and music that slaps from LDR but like fuck anyone know what she's saying during the first chorus? "when you're good as gold"? I can't hear anything else and that's all I keep hearing, HELP If you ask yourself, 'How do you know?' That's your answer, the answer is "no" God, that line hit me so hard
  2. okay and that sounds mellotrony at the end of Grandfather too I need the credits for this album ASAP
  3. Mods and @Elle since we have the uncensored, pre-mixed version of Fingertips, can that be posted? Not that I want to share the link, but since it isn't the released version, it makes me wonder just for fun how that song's alt. version stands (the leaked version is missing the censor on mother)
  4. and then Granfather sounds like it belongs on Solar Power written by the one, the only, lustforlife
  5. Paris Texas reminds me of something that belongs on a Twilight soundtrack, maybe New Moon
  6. So do we consider Fingertips Leaked Version to be a demo? Or a different mix? Then there has to be an uncensored version of A&W where she says "Got a cop" That twinkling sound was weird, to censor it like that. I mean, cool I guess but it's strange that she ended up leaving in a full first and last name but censored the word "mother" instead. Just strange choices lol
  7. Kintsugi sounds like a fucking Leonard Cohen song, it's so beautifully NFR-era. It sounds like it fell right out of that album and landed here. Daddy, I miss them, I'm in the mountains!
  8. It's not counting Pitchfork yet, but they gave it a mid 80s score, I think it was 86 or something
  9. 81! https://www.metacritic.com/person/lana-del-rey?filter-options=music&sort_options=metascore&num_items=30
  10. the instrumentals to the judah smith interlude is beautiful. i hope when we hear the instrumentals someday, it's separated from this tulsa la jesus freak
  11. I never noticed in Ocean Blvd and during the entire first half of A&W, the beat underneath everything, it's super subtle and quiet, it's like a very quiet base/kickdrum sound that picks up during the last part of AW before Jimmy starts
  12. i read that as sirens.... why are we called lipsters when we could be sirens??? ugh
  13. I can't believe we have the album officially. It took us speculating for so long i'm listening right now on apple music to be sure i don't miss anything and she gets my full stream tonight
