AKA, Honeymoon, and UV take the cake for me, but lately Ocean Blvd has really found it's place amongst them. Sometimes I go through random listening marathons of nothing but Sirens or BTD or Chemtrails, but that's what it's been for me lately. I don't listen to NFR, LFL, or Blue Banisters all too much anymore, but I do like those albums... just not as much as the others.

I'm pretty sure they're limited edition/alt. covers, but who knows. I do see a lot of the Target cover out still at Target and the Blue Banisters alt. artwork had a limited run where I only saw maybe 2-3 between the Targets near me (like 5 or 6 different ones). Maybe it was a logistical reason to put it out later? I'm not sure

Skinnydipped sounds too short for me. It should've been a longer track. Holding Back is kind of a fun song, but it builds up for no reason. Idk, i don't think it does much or goes anywhere. The Devil seems randomly placed. It doesn't really belong with this album at all imo. I don't care for the beginning of Meteorite. it sounds like it should've been kept for finer tuning or something. Fuck Love is fine, I guess. It isn't bad, it's not great. Kinda middle of the road. Deadend... I like her ballads, idc. Unleavable is good, I like that song. Anything 4 U sounds like she's trying to scratch the same itch Fuck With Myself did with it's instrumental? I think? Idk, the instrumental is just weird. It has this weird scratchy guitar pluck sound and then a random beat comes in. It isn't bad but I just don't understand what she was trying to do with it. Spirit could've been scrapped. i just don't care for collabs with her and it isn't his voice, it's just a weird track. I didn't like her earlier collabs either, like Look What You're Doing To Me. I hope a solo version of that leaks

Ceremonials has fucked me up to this day still 2012 - Born To Die 2013 - this one is between Electra Heart and The Family Jewels... i had a big Marina era then and loved her, her message, her character she built. it was a lot of fun 2014 - Ultraviolence, Lou Reed - Transformer, The Kinks - lola vs powerman..., dark side of the moon 2015 - tame impala - currents & lonerism, honeymoon 2016 - this year it felt like i'd listened to a lot of random stuff. kind of playlist music and unreleased Lana, honeymoon made it's way into this year a lot too for me 2017 - alt J - an awesome wave, LFL 2018 - How Big How Blue How Beautiful comes to mind this year. it didn't resonate with me when it first came out but with time... it definitely became a soundtrack of that year for me. 2019 - NFR, Good Kid Maad City was played a loooot, the wall 2020 - 2023 has been a large mix of things.
