I'm really loving all the ocean imagery with this album and the fact that the album itself will be a Pisces is just even more perfect lol I love that (similarly to MAC and NFR) Lana is back in the ocean with this album, whereas the others always felt to me like she was on land, sometimes on the beach but never really in the water I would love for her to have a music video where she is a mermaid or siren

I'm getting to this a bit late but I decided to join in lol I never realized before that the Burnt Norton interlude was from a T.S. Eliot poem so I think its really cool that Lana sampled that. I also really like these lines: What might have been and what has been Point to one end, which is always present I think the idea of possibility in these lines is really interesting, what could be, what was, always at a stand still but still moving...often I find myself struggling with making decisions, even small ones and considering the possible outcomes. It reminds me of "The Path Not Taken" by Robert Frost too, considering whether to take the easy road that everyone else takes, or taking the less traveled path that may be more difficult but more rewarding in the end. As for why Lana chose to include it in Honeymoon, I'm not totally sure but it makes me think that Burnt Norton, at the center may be the starting point and the first half of the album may be one path (possibly starting at Art Deco and moving backwards to Honeymoon, or starting at HM and ending at Art Deco) and the second half is the other path (Religion to DLMBM)...leaving two possible outcomes, one taken and one not I've never really thought about Honeymoon's tracklist like that before (and I may be completely wrong lol) but I think its definitely interesting with the context of the poem

I hear it as "y alyo nina" which probably means nothing but I'm almost positive the last part has "nina" but with no ñ Since "niña" means girl, I thought it meant "something" girl but since there is no ñ either its something else entirely or she's just mispronouncing it lol

Another one that always gives me chills is the Beautiful People demo when she says: She wants to die/she should fucking try I always wonder if she means "she should try to die" or if she should try harder in life, I guess to be happy lol I prefer the latter because its less depressing but it could be either one

I think "Being a Slut" was one of 2022's resolutions since she's burning it (2023's will be written and kept until 2024 and then also burned) Based on her comment of "what to let go of" I think she feels that "being a slut" was manifested in 2022 In other words, she achieved her goal of being a slut in 2022
