i feel like this concept would've worked so much better if they were just regular products and weren't edible, gourmands are a lot more popular nowadays, but in 2005, i can imagine scents that smell like cake and desserts would've been more polarizing/different from the typical floral/fruity/fresh perfumes (even though pink sugar by aquolina and fantasy by britney spears came out during the 2000s and they're very sweet, candy-like fragrances)

Hundred Dollar Bill (Demo and Final Version)
Dark Angel replied to Your Girl Lana's topic in Unreleased
i'm honestly not entirely convinced that she isn't saying this -
my first bob dylan song @burthday kake i hope you're proud

ALSO, lana insists that she wasn't aware of the story of the woman who jumped off the hollywood sign but i kinda feel like she did and she didn't want to admit that she knew about it/referenced it because at the time she was trying to steer away from her "dark" image because of all the criticism she got for it, i'm glad she's not afraid to be honest and vulnerable again

i can only imagine that the lotions/creams/perfumes/whatever else it was would be very sticky, like if you put frosting or caramel on your skin
-
i doubt it, it seems like they were close even before lana was famous, she often attended the T.R.A.F.F.I.C meetings that he attended

i find it interestingly ironic how a lot of the things that people get mad about nowadays regarding lana are things she's done in the past or throughout her career and nobody had any issue with previously people are already getting upset at her for referencing black dahlia in the upcoming candy necklace music video... but nobody has anything to say about her recreating JFK's murder in the national anthem music video, i can see how referencing such events can be a tricky, and if they referenced, it should be done in a tasteful, respectful way that makes sense for the purpose of art, the music video isn't even completely out yet, it might make more sense once the complete video is released, regardless, i would like to think that lana is referencing her for a reason, i do think it would be distasteful to dress/imitate her just for the aesthetic or for no reason at all
