a recurring topic of discussion here is lana lyrics which sound like two different things, such as "soft ice cream"/"soft i scream" in salvatore, or "live-stream"/"life's dream" in the greatest, i think "heroin" also has this, the lyric "i really changed" also sounds a lot like "i rarely changed" i can't say this was intentional, i just think it's interesting, since they are basically opposites in meaning, heroin is such a powerful song and i think both interpretations work very well with the meaning and the depth of the song <3

i think they mean it's unnecessary in general, the grammy awards don't mean anything besides "congratulations, you were very popular and you had connections in the industry, here's a cute little award" which definitely fits billie eilish, she's extremely popular and didn't her parents have connections with the music industry from the start? i'm not saying she's untalented or that she doesn't deserve anything, but winning five grammys in one night is excessive, and what's even worse is the fact that she didn't even mention lana in her speech, she did mention ariana grande however! which was the weirdest thing, it makes me feel like she's not even a real fan, or if anything she's just a btd fan, i truly do feel like lana deserved that grammy out of anybody else, she's geniunely artistic & talented and doesn't rely on chasing mainstream trends or working with the biggest producers, she will be relevent years & decades from now

ty for saying this! i agree 100%! i will say that today was very... crazy... yet i had a blast and i honestly don't think any posts should be moved unless they are truly off-topic & don't belong... i really hope we are heard and we can have a balance, bc joking & "trolling" is definitely a part of the culture of pre-release eras & this forum in general and it think we should honor that, although moments like gifgates, for example, are... chaotic they truly make this community what it is <3
