no, it doesn't seem like there was any issue with he hits me because he loves me or pink champagne leaking (that we know of, we can't assume lana wanted those songs out there but she didn't do anything about it), we can't say the title of the song on the website or say really much about it, but it was a song she just didn't want out there at all

i get what you're saying, i apologize for going on a rant there, although a large majority of us listen to leaks and unreleased songs, we all can agree that it is pretty creepy and immoral at the end of the day for some fans to leak songs or to go out of their way to access them, that's the downside of it, it can be a lot of fun for new songs from past eras, or songs we've known about for a long time to surface on the internet, but somebody had to go out of their way to get that song and they probably had to hack or scam somebody to do so, which is obviously not cool, i think it's good to be conscious of these things, and to know when something may not be right to listen to, such as the case of that song, i'm sure most fans, at least the ones here who are aware, avoid listening to that song because we know for sure she doesn't want it out there

i'm confused by your response, are you saying that we should try to avoid listening to any unreleased song just because she might hypothetically rework them or reuse them conceptually? i don't think that's reasonable at all because she has 100s of unreleased songs and concepts, she can't possibly reuse all of them, and regardless if she were to reuse an old concept or rework an old unreleased song, how would fans previously being aware of that song hinder her ability to rework the song? she attempted to rework/reuse parts of axl rose husband in 2015, and that song has been around since at least 2012, she released cherry blossom, living legend, nectar of the gods, and thunder on blue banisters and all of those songs were previously leaked tracks that were known by fans, clearly she didn't feel like she couldn't release them just because other fans have heard them, lana's going to do what she wants to do regardless, and honestly, i feel like you're the one who's assuming how lana's feeling, not the rest of this thread, there's actually some unreleased songs she likes, and although i'm sure there's some she'd rather not have out there, i don't think she's losing sleep over the fact that fans can listen to kill kill or wayamaya

@Dior what point are you getting at with saying that lana could possibly rework malibu just because she may have reworked/revisited other songs? i don't think that should mean we can't discuss or even want a certain track to leak just because lana could hypothetically re-use the concept, it is something she has done a number of times, but we can't just assume she may or may not reuse, rework, or revisit a certain song or concept, should we be extra weary of any and all unreleased songs because she could technically finalize them and release them? by that logic, nobody should've been listening to say yes to heaven, which was her most popular unreleased song, before she had released it and if you just simply don't like the idea of people wanting songs to leak or the fact that they come from scamming/hacking etc. that is fine and totally understandable, but i really don't know what else you can do besides just staying away from threads where certain discussions like that are taking place, it's a part of lanaboards, and lana's stuff leaks a lot, but we still do what we can to respect lana when necessary by strictly forbidding links to officially released content, and not talking about that particular song we know for a fact she didn't want out

did she actually say this? i don't believe she did, all i know is that she said it was "completely deleted" edit: i now recall that she said it was too personal which is why she deleted, so it does make sense to say that she might not want it out there, but regardless, i don't think people shouldn't be allowed to discuss it or be curious about the song
-
there's no way she's going to use a very old demo for a lust for life track in anything upcoming, just because lana claims she "completely deleted" it doesn't mean it was especially personal, maybe she just didn't really care for it or didn't feel like it was necessary to keep, but obviously producers probably still had their copy of the demo and we can acknowledge that leaker culture is pretty messed up at the end of the day, while also still allowing ourselves to be curious about unreleased songs, leaks happen with practically every artist, nobody here is going to advocate listening to anything that lana really didn't want out (such as that song), fans can decide whether or not they want to listen to leaked songs, but i don't think there's anything wrong with enjoying a song that has leaked onto the internet for the most part

The Missing Titanic Submarine Was Using A $30 Video Game Controller

i don't care if they were rich or whatever, it is still a tragedy and they did not deserve to go like that, i can't imagine how terrifying it was to be stuck there during their last moments, hopefully they can be at peace now, obviously it was their choice and conscious decision to embark on this, even knowing that it was dangerous, but i still don't feel like they deserved it or that it's funny- 138 replies

The Missing Titanic Submarine Was Using A $30 Video Game Controller

obviously it was a stupid decision for anybody to embark on this, given how unsafe it is, but the thought of being stuck in a submarine deep in the ocean, knowing you're likely going to die sounds horrific and i can't imagine how everybody who is there is feeling right now
