I just want her to get pro filmed/recorded performances of all the new tracks + Pretty Dull and call it a day. I would play those happily, I don't want to keep waiting for years for them, it's absurd. I don't think we will get Masochism this year. Clearly these shows were booked in order to get the record done, but it's pretty clear that money is not the problem but her perfectionism and lack of music making abilities.

Yes, Birds By the Sea is great, along with Burn. She knows how to make great moody ballads.

This is very solid. Or a 9 track album with that tracklist and then a deluxe version with the rest of the tracks. I'm sure most people won't get that upset if the worst tracks of the album were bonus tracks.

No Masochism song is scrapped until there's an official tracklist with an official release date. We all know how messy is her way of work, maybe we might get songs like Guardian and I Pray For Rain that we thought would have been scrapped by now or even that she confirmed to be scrapped years ago.

I still remember how shocked I was with how perfect Immortal is, haunting song and music video, such a gem. It kinda feels like a good bye to Marina & the Diamonds. What a trilogy, what a ride.

Totally agree, most don't even fit Grimes voice, I don't know how Grimes' team decided that those songs sound good enough to have them on Spotify.

It's such a gem. I believe it's her best piano track. Maybe my favorite Marina song. I miss that sound and I'm glad that we got Goodbye, it's the closest to Obsessions that we have gotten since years. Goodbye and High Emotional People are future classics ♥

I agree, stripped is a better way to call it than acoustic. All you mentioned makes totally sense, she really let her Fandom down with those watered down fake acoustic versions. It's crazy to realize how lazy she got after Froot, all her past eras had great live acoustic versions.

Those two songs would've been better bonus tracks for the deluxe than some of the EP tracks. I mean, those EP tracks could've stayed as exclusive EP tracks.

What kind of fanfic is this 😂 It's not like she is going to do covers or interpolations of songs you like, the perfect setlist for anyone would be that she actually plays all the songs she planned without getting on stage late or having tech issues. Ethel Cain lol, she is busy being an artist, she won't waste her time on a very problematic singer. (and I don't even like Ethel, but she is waaaaay better than Sky on every level). But hey, you can dream ☺
