WTF, old Titanic Poppy is back?

It's not a good album tbh, sure I like it and it came out during the whole Tumblr aesthetics at its peak, but the whole thing was rushed (can't blame her, or maybe it's her fault, who knows, she is a liar), poor mixing, ok-ish mastering. Lyrics are ok-ish, the production sounds dated af now. For the time it was great but many of us remember the album as a cool experience back then and we see it through rose colored glasses. It's not a good album, but people keep praising it as it was a cool thing back then and it's her only album in an almost 15 years career.

Sometimes I think Sky Ferreira is just someone who steals others artists ideas, aesthetic, sound, etc. And right now she is taking long because she ran out of "inspiration".

I know it won't happen and I'm delulu... But if she releases Disco Darling fuuuuck yes.

Word on the street is Capitol is turning Sky into the new Halsey. Going back to plan A, I guess lol.

As far as I know she reworked many Mermaid vs Sailor songs for TFJ, I hope they leak one day.

Poor Marina, I don't think she will return to her old days. She kinda tried with Ancient Dreams but she fucking ruined it with the whole political and woke edge.

None of those "substitute" singers have come to my mind as similar to Sky's sound or style. They seem so bland compared to Sky.

Yup, pretty much. Just wait outside or get to her merch booth after show, maybe she might be there. Tbh I was lucky when I met her, it was like 2 hours before her set in a Mexican festival. She was the one who came close to her fans who saw her from afar, we wave and screamed her name and she came to us, took photos individually with us and chat a bit. Such a sweetheart, but that was early 2013, maybe she changed. She doesn't seem that (kinda) extrovert anymore (even though she has always been an introvert, you know what I mean).

Portals kinda ruined K-12 to me, it's so bad compared to Portals. Cry Baby is just a little bit better than K-12 but Portals is to me kinda like a career restart, her proper debut album.

Somehow I listen the most to the three bonus tracks than to the rest of the regular album. Powder is fantastic.
