I agree, I was disappointed by the two singles but I have still big hopes on this new album as I adore the other three she has released.

Capitol is "doing" to her what labels have done to many artists before, yet many of those artist have decided to release their own music without their support in many clever ways (mixtapes, independent singles, crowd funding, side projects, pseudonyms). One example is JoJo, she wasn't able to release music with other labels, so she released music independently as mixtapes. Charli had issues with her label as well before she was able to release True Romance, so she released two free mixtapes. After Sucker, she had issues with them again and she was not able to release an album with her own vision, so she decided to release two paid mixtapes instead. Don't you think Sky would be able to release ANYTHING? After all she did a few collabs during these years, she was able to release covers on SoundCloud and she was even able to be part of the Baby Driver soundtrack and also be part of the David Lynch tribute album. How is her label the one stopping her releasing music?

This! Besides Sky is no freaking Fiona Apple Sky is pretty much just a random alt pop girl who had released just one critical acclaimed album. All her peers (Grimes, Charli, Marina, even freaking Halsey) are more successful than her because they have released more music, even though all of them (except Halsey) have had big issues with their labels yet they found a way to release music for their fans and receive critical acclaim at certain points of their career. Is kinda dumb to compare Sky with Fiona just for the waiting time span between albums, when actually Sky has a shitty work ethic compared to Fiona, and Fiona have released many critical acclaimed albums in her career. Sky is nowhwre close to Fiona in any criteria (this comes from someone who loves Sky music and just like a few Fiona songs. Her latest album is fire tho)

Has anyone found interesting how Charli keeps working with most of the artist she has worked in the past and shows a lot of support to them or whatever, but strangely she and Marina don't interact that much (if any) since the "that FROOT looks familiar" thing? God knows I stan Marina really hard but sometimes I feel like she is the problematic one and that's why some of her "celebrity" friendships don't last that long (Charli, Lana, Ellie Goulding, etc). Charli seems very caring and supportive as a friend and she always finds new up and coming artists (Daine, ELIO, Kim Petras, etc.) and give them promo so new people can check their music out.
