I for one enjoy all of sucker except Red Balloon (but does that count)... Top 5: 01. Need Ur Luv (damn I want her to explore this sound again) 02. Sucker (loved bratty punk mumble Charli) 03. Body Of My Own (just cos) 04. Caught In The Middle / Famous / Doing It (I like all these songs so they're equal for me - not keen on the Rita Ora version of Doing It) 05. Break The Rules (it's kinda trash and dumb but that's why I love it - its great 2014 pop) And of course SuperLove

I think she very much painted the image that LFL was a happy record, Love and LFL being singles, the album title, the artwork with her smiling etc. But it didn't feel genuine to me and Love and LFL are probably my least favourite songs on the album for that reason. I do think her melodies and lyrics were more uplifting and hopeful though, like BPBP and TNC are some of my favourites. But there was still an air of sadness in the music for me... So with this record again, it is much more hopeful than say UV or BTD... But I don't think anybody is expecting Lana to be all rainbows and smiles. It's who she is, she thinks a lot and she's a very emotive person. I'm loving the direction, sonically and lyrically.

Really hoping Talking Like An Answering Machine is a song for the record. Where she's being moody about her lover who always sounds bored / distant when he calls.

I think Bartender might be the stand alone single in October? She recorded it during the time that she was working with Jack and said that it didn't belong to a record. In that case, I'll let her be... I'm hooked on these 2 songs so serve me up an 18 track record please.

So... now we know the project is nearly complete, has a title and 2 singles have been dropped - why are we waiting til 2019? Like it's clear that they're not trying to promote the record like LFL, and surely they haven't postponed the release for the poetry book (cos that sounds undecided, working title and she doesn't know how it's going to be published yet). It would've made more sense to drop a 3rd song in October with the pre-order and then album in November, even release bundles of the album and poetry book to cash in.

Ready for this to be a 10 minute megamix of unreleased material i.e. BAR, Yosemite, RBF etc. But for real, very excited to see how this track sounds, she's managed longer tracks before (Cruel World, The Blackest Day, Honeymoon, Change, Off To The Races etc) and has always managed to capture my attention and keep it interesting.

No, I've said for a while that MAC seemed like a buzz single (and I do believe it will be part of the record in the end). I just meant that it's unlikely she's gonna go more pop and mainstream with the album. And I'm glad, I don't Lana's production sounding anything like Taylor Swift She already said the album has elements of folk, rock and surf.

I'd like to belive you're joking but Lana's brand as an artist is so much more sophisticated than Melanie or Halsey, vocally and lyrically they aren't really comparable. So I don't see why people want them to collab

Marina I could probably deal with (just because they're friends and all) but NOT Melanie Martinez. Melanie's better off on a Halsey tumblr album or something. Lana doesn't need her on any of her records.
