I don't buy it... Lana literally hasn't said anything on social media etc since the announcement. But suddenly decides to create an insta group chat and spill all the info to these fans. If she knows her fans at all, she should know dropping 2 stand alone singles is a mistake ready to see her insta comments and twitter be spammed with "wheres the album" etc

I don't see them as random other than Chelsea Hotel Summer Wine was released whilst she was in a relationship with and recording with Barrie and I believe they were creating a project together and Summer Wine was the only teaser before they split... And then River leaked. And then LIB was just for a soundtrack and was axed... It could've been by Lana's request or it could've been something as simple as publishing issues.

She said Get Free was the starting point of the next record. She said that she didn't see Yosemite and BAR being on the next record. She claimed that this was her blue phase. She's had a very clear vision of a record since the LFL era... so it seems unlikely that only 2 tracks came from this vision, I think maybe her team has accepted that she's not gonna get hit singles anymore so have switched up her strategy. Lead single and buzz or 2 buzz singles to create hype and perhaps buy them some time before announcing anything?

Chelsea Hotel was something that she wanted to release as just a thing... and Summer Wine was for an unreleased project with Barrie? LIB was intended for a soundtrack and was axed for unknown reasons, so that wasn't that random. Coachella was clearly a song she was passionate about and was probably gonna be a stand alone single cos at the time LFL was finished, but then the release date was changed and more songs were added.

There is gonna be an album... She's pretty much teased several track titles, confirmed she'd written multiple songs, potentially collaborated with Marina and worked with Jack for a couple of months now. This is gonna be her HM2.0 and I'm here for it, BTD, UV and LFL feel like her big albums, heavily promoted etc. Paradise and HM are like vanity projects that came pretty much imminently after other projects. Like this one...

BTD and UV were also the 2nd singles from their albums...

I definitely don't want as many as LFL, but I think we should expect it... I wouldn't mind A$AP again, but that's about it from the LFL features. And is Marina definite? I just don't see it, I imagine their collaboration may have been writing or something else? I kinda don't want a Marina collab on the album

I think it's likely that MAC is coming on the 12th, Chuck obviously got the go ahead to announce the video series and we are expecting 2 drops this week

The feud isn't about talent though I'm not really a fan of either but from what I've seen Nicki is jealous, and not just towards Cardi but towards a lot of others lately... Look at how she behaved when Queen debuted at #2 (her attack on Travis), I think she can't handle that the GP have moved on from her and that somebody like Cardi (who she considers talentless) is having so much success... It's bitter. I don't blame the media. I blame Nicki and like I said this isn't a biased opinion, this is from what I've seen.

Off To The Races is a vital part of her discography, like it is the most "Lana Del Rey character" song we've ever gotten from her

I don't think there ever was an original UV, I think she began making the album and recorded songs like Black Beauty, Hollywood, AFFA etc. All which I assume were going to be part of an album up until they leaked. Even after the leak she said that she was still gonna put them on the album and see what happens. She said that UV was finished and that she booked a studio session with Dan last minute and then recorded two songs Cruel World and PWYC. These songs changed her vision for the albums sound and so she worked with Dan and re-recorded the original album, hence why the UV version of Black Beauty is different and why she said that Hollywood leaked with the wrong production (Dan must've reworked it in these sessions and it was cut from the final tracklist). Also why the original mix of West Coast was released as a radio mix cos the production was different. I think it was also at this point of working with Dan, that her vision for the album art had changed, hence the change in artwork? I personally love the alternate "hipster" pressing of UV, however the Honeymoon UO exclusive was a let down

I listened to Honeymoon backwards and damn, she wasn't lying when she said the album begins and ends with HM, such an interesting way to interpret the story hearing it in reverse

Yeah I wouldn't want her to collab with any of the LFL features on this one (other than A$AP), but she does seem to have collaborated much more since LFL, The Weeknd, Borns, Cat Power etc. So I'm definitely expecting at least one. But I do love all her solo albums when it's just her

That would be something aha, if there is any I'm expecting iconic (like Stevie) or really obscure new artists
