  2. When they first played the Cruel World snippet I was thinking "why is everyone so excited, this is not a new song, it's Blue Jeans".
  3. I'm sorry if this offends anyone but after West Coast, Ultraviolence and Shades of Cool are a little... underwhelming (but maybe they'll grow on me).
  4. Thanks. I never asked that before because no one else did so I thought I wasn't understanding something. So in both cases you mentioned, it would be a mistake... By the way, I love your profile picture.
  5. This might be a dumb question but in the National Anthem video, near the end, when the guy gets shot and Lana tries to escape, the car sometimes is moving and sometimes it is stopped, is it a mistake or am I seeing it wrong?
  6. Now that you mention it, it is a little similar. But West Coast (the "I'm feeling hot to the touch..." part) reminds me more of Burning Desire (when she sings "I'm driving fast...").
  7. Yes, that's exactly what I was going to write. Are you a fan of rock music? Because I feel like those who love the song are more into rock than those who don't like it.
  8. I think the person who said he/she preferred Lana not to "use her lower register so much" was talking about not making her singing so "monotonous". BTD has a lot of variety in that aspect and is a great album.
  9. Considering you know about film, what is your opinion of Yoann Lemoine? For example, I'm always impressed by how he can build so much tension and make it seem like many things are going on with only two people in a swimming pool. Whereas in Ride, many things were literally happening - gunshots, fire, motorcycles, people acting crazy... but all that action lead to nowhere and I was left feeling indifferent. Do you agree with any of this? And do you think Tropico could have been better had it been directed by someone like Woodkid?
  10. Hi guys, I'm new on this forum so I don't know if it's right to post this here... When Lana came to Argentina, her family stayed longer than her and some people had the chance to chat with them. They said they felt comfortable here and were really kind and shared a few things about Lana. Rob said Tropico premieres December 2nd in L.A. and the 4th on NYC. Also, Chuck is preparing a documentary with footage of the shows and such but I don't know where to share it or if you already know these things...
