I thought the same thing too! That whole track seems very Amy-influenced. A few other tracks do too, such as Billie Bossa Nova, Lost Cause, My Future.. I don't recall if Billie's ever mentioned Amy as an influence, but if so, it definitely shows in this record. I love it x

Good topic idea! I'll share some I've come across. Without Love - James Arthur This song mentions Lana in its opening line: "Lana Del Rey, I just saw through a demon. That's why I got the people feeling so bohemian." I actually quite like this song. Gone But Not F. Cotton - Coldplay This song was a tribute song to Fearne Cotton upon her departure from Radio 1. In the song, they say: "Thanks for introducing us to Lana Del Rey" as Fearne first played Video Games on the station. I Ain't Missing - Doe B ft. G Eazy & Maino G Eazy mentions Lana in his verse, and this was actually 3 years before they even met and had their little thing: "When I make moves, she's a goner, whether it be Rihanna, Madonna, Lana Del Rey, or your momma." Moana - G Eazy & Jack Harlow G Eazy mentions Lana again during his part in the song, this time 3 years after their little thing: "I know a Keisha and I know Lana. They try to get me back, but I'm like, 'No, nah, nah.'" God Made Lana Del Rey - Jessica Chase I really like this song too. It's a song from a small Canadian singer. In the song, she mentions Lana in the chorus: "God made Lana Del Rey and Mr. Kanye, I love when they laugh." Lana Del Rey - Jerry James This is a weird little love/lust song towards Lana lol. "Like a video game, but I ain't playing. I'm tryna hit Lana Del Rey, is what I'm saying." Lana (Del Rey) - Buffalo Rodeo Weirdly enough, this song makes no reference to Lana at all in the lyrics, she's just in the title. But ironically, this song was pitched and passed off as a fake Lizzy Grant leak a few years ago lol. Maybe the song was just reminiscent of her style, which is why they titled it after her. I really like this song too. I Dreamed I Was Lana Del Rey's Older Brother - Walter Martin This whole song is directed towards Lana. "Lana, why do you let them always break your heart? Lana, why do you let them tear you all apart?" I like this song too.

Billie did some performances for Radio 1 Live Lounge that were posted today and they're incredible. I especially love the I Didn't Change My Number performance, that song is so hot lol. I need to come back and give my full thoughts on the album soon because I've really been loving it. So many amazing tracks x

Last night, Lana Del Rey stopped to pose with the owner of Maggie's Music Box, a live music venue and bar, in Jenks, Oklahoma. While she was there, she saw local artist Wanda Watson Band perform.

That's essentially what it is, just a bit more grown up. Icing is always an inside joke between me and my friends because the very first time I hung out with my now-best friend, we went to mall and she stole something from Icing and I freaked out about it afterwards. Now every time we end up at a mall with an Icing, her or one of my other friends will steal something from there in her honour lol x

Yesterday, Lana Del Rey stopped by an Icing store inside Woodland Hills Mall in Tulsa, Oklahoma. While she was there, she snapped a photo with an employee who was a fan.

That is what this thread is actually meant for. I’ve thought about creating another thread for people to post Blue Banisters memes, gif spams, jokes, etc so this thread could be a clean place for discussion, theories, thoughts, etc. So there would be this thread: Blue Banisters Pre-Release Discussion Thread and: Blue Banisters Pre-Release Hype Thread & that way people who actually want to discuss or post other meaningful contributions can do so without having to filter through spam, and those who just want to make silly fun posts can have their own space to do so. Similar to our UFB Pre-Leak thread. im just not sure if people would get confused with two threads. Of course we could always try it out and just see how things go and if it doesn’t work just start from square one again. But I’ve already been receiving reports from the spam in here tonight so idk maybe it would be a good idea to have two separate threads for Blue Banisters stuff. Also I’ve been heavily considering just knocking this thread back to a Pre-Pre-Release thread. We never even had one for this era because she seemingly announced it so quickly, but since that didn’t pan out, maybe I should change this one to be a Pre-Pre-Release until we get some sort of actual release date. Eeeep! Here's some of my personal favourites, including songs that are from her early mixtapes and may not be on streaming services. I purchase/download all my music so I'm not really aware of what's on streaming services. I hope you enjoy! I could've probably curated a better list for you knowing what your taste is based on other artists/albums/songs you enjoy, but to start, here's just some of my personal favourites. EDIT: Also @lanailoveyou, if you prefer to just start with a whole album I'd recommend her sophomore album Every Where is Some Where. It's a great introduction to K.Flay and has a rather accessible sound. I was introduced through her first studio record Life as a Dog in 2014 which I also think is a great intro record too, so I'd maybe listen to that one next, but I think EWISW is a really great starter for anyone. It's also the record that gained her a bit more traction with the popularity of its single Blood in the Cut x

Guess what I found in my Ulta catalogue that arrived today It's one of the little fragrance sampler cards! I also popped into Ulta a little over two weeks ago and they had an end-cap display up with the same image. Back when I used to work at Ulta about two years ago, they had a smaller pop-up display rather than a whole end-cap that featured the photo of Lana & Jared in the salon chairs. I'm so happy that even after 2 years they're still showing her display and even upgraded it! x
