The BTD picture disk was a Record Store Day exclusive in 2013. It will never be restocked, unfortunately. I believe it was limited to 2,000 pressings when it was released, so your only option is finding one on eBay or Discogs marketplace. I never thought I'd actually own a copy, but during COVID shutdown someone was selling their edition on eBay, unopened. I paid a shit-ton for it (considering it was like $25 or $30 when it was released in 2013), but I got it finally for my Lana vinyl collection ?. I'm wishing you good luck finding one ?

I'm full-in on a covers album. And with her name dropping Patsy Cline ❤❤❤❤ I mean, I love so many of her songs, I wouldn't even know where to start; I Fall To Pieces, Walkin' After Midnight, She's Got You, Crazy, Back In Baby's Arms just to name a few. I'm hoping she covers Crazy or She's Got You, but Back In Baby's Arms is a rare gem of a track. I think it's a bit too fast for Lana, she would probably slow it down. Anyways, super excited for this album (assuming it actually happens)

Not sure why it's so hard to get an answer to my question ? I even asked Lana's Reddit page the same thing. So either everyone's pre-order cream vinyl came in clear or some were actually cream and no one is replying ?‍♂️

Did anyone order the Cream variation from Lana's US store (prior to it's release) and actually received a Cream vinyl? Or was all of the Cream vinyls from her US store clear?

Thanks for letting me know dude. Someone put one up on Discogs for sale and I bought it instantly this past week. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to have the clear variation for my collection. It will be open, but I'm ok with that. Otherwise, it would have a UPC sticker for cream and I'd never actually know if it was clear or not. I was going to tag you in a post once I received it this coming week letting you know I got one ? Do we know yet if it was just single batch that was clear, or all of the cream variations from the US store? Someone said it was a mistake in the manufacturing process and since yours was stickered as cream, I have to assume they were correct. I'm curious now to know if this new batch will be clear or cream ? @UltraviolenceBaby report back once you receive yours. I'm hoping you get a clear variant ?

Wow dude, thanks for sharing your Violet collection ? Pretty impressive to say the least. It's also amazing that there were so many different variants of the vinyl considering this was only an audio book release. The clear makes it even more amazing ? Hopefully, I'll have a clear version too one day ?

The reason I don't think it was a mistake is because @SouthInGuy posted pics of the UPC Barcode sticker (which can be seen on Lana's Discogs and his Twitter) and the barcode was different, off by one number. Therefore, I get the feeling that it wasn't a mistake. I'll see what her US store replies to my question. Maybe I'm completely off and it was a mistake, but why the different barcode sticker then?

I see that and of course the only one sold out is the clear variation. Even the picture disk is still available on her US store. I agree that they totally fucked the collector's on this release Edit: I just emailed her US store to see if that variant will be available for purchase again. I'm sure it won't be, but no hurt in asking

After what happened with Violet, I am ordering every single option of COCC on vinyl. Even if they appear to be the same. I'm so pissed about the clear variation dude. I thought I had all bases covered for this release ?‍♂️

Hopefully we both receive everything we ordered and there's no damage ? Regarding the clear vinyl variation. Her US store actually never clarified what the color was, it was only described as "Exclusive" and that's it. Her UK site (Universal Music) clarified that it was "Exclusive Cream color" Both stores showed a cream/white color vinyl tho, so one would assume that both were the cream variation. I actually don't think it was a mistake. I think her US store had a different "Exclusive" color, they just sucked at describing it as clear and to make things more confusing, they showed a cream/white vinyl and not a clear vinyl. I'm totally pissed at her US store right now

Same. I'm so fucking mad at her US store for not describing the "Exclusive" vinyl correctly and adding one more word, "Clear" - As a collector of LDR vinyl, I'm fuming ? ? Chances are someone will be selling it on eBay for 4x as much and it will probably be opened

Just curious, but has anyone received their orders from her official store yet? Mine mailed out almost 3 weeks ago and have not arrived yet ? Where are these things coming from? They also don't provide tracking because they mail out via standard postage. I find that strange since I bought around $150 worth of vinyl ?‍♂️ The green variant from France and the blue from Urban Outfitters have both arrived in less time than the vinyl from her official store ?‍♂️ Edit: Apparently they are coming from the UK. So why not provide tracking????

I've been ready for Lana to explore an Americana sound for awhile now. She's def danced around that type of sound here and there over the years, esp with Blue Baby & I Must Be Stupid For Being So Happy. Personally, I've been delving into the new sound of Country music thanks to Orville Peck kinda opening those doors for me. She's explored so many different genres, so why not Americana? I'm fucking ready for Lana's COCC, even if I'm in the minority with my opinion?

Just watched the new vid and it really wasn't as bad as peeps were making it out to be ?‍♂️ I mean, Venice Bitch was a much more boring video and extremely repetitive, (though still one of my fave tracks from NFR, regardless of the vid) - I just don't think Lana was trying to go too deep with this video. She probably wasn't even planning on releasing a vid for this track and then decided last minute to put something together. It's a cute vid, that's about it. Definitely not worthy of the meltdowns I've been reading all day ?‍♂️ - COCC will be the money shot when it releases I'm sure

Just received my copy via Amazon and it's fucking BEAUTIFUL ???? I am so amazed by the "work in progress" feel the poems have. Like they are a snapshot in time as she was writing them. I also love the fuzzy, soft filter affect on the pictures, makes them almost dream-like quality. I can't wait to delve into all of the poems later tonight when I have some alone time with Violet. Lana really delivered on this release; bravo LRD, bravo ?

Off subject, but does the community have a good mp3 rip of this cover? Just curious ?
