If there were awards for most useless people, it would have to go to Lana Del Rey's lifeless backup dancers
lana herself is doing less than them
at least they are getting paid

Lana finally knowing people in LA and showing Interscope the list of managers, producers, artists, talent scouts, etc. that will leave with her if they don't stop bothering her for a release date
this deep devil wears prada reference has lifted me into the ether thank you

Her dancers make me so uncomfortable.
Watch that horse girl on the left and it's like she's literally raping you with her eyes
this is a bit hostile

Ugh imagine a double A-side of "Cinnamon" and "NFR" in April with like a 15 minute short movie / music video. Then she drops the burnt orange vinyl, deluxe boxset with salmon pink LP and lithographs, signed CD and poetry book pre-order. Followed by a couple of weekly poem teasers and "Happiness Is A Butterfly" 2 weeks later with the footage Chuck shot and then the album dropping in May.

I'll say this once and I'll say it again: Lana's lazy now.
She doesn't care about her visuals or her image (i.e. outfits, interviews, candids, selfies, etc) as she did during the BTD era because she was trying to prove herself at that point. She had been fighting for over 10 years trying to make it, and once she got signed, she wanted to build her fanbase and prove her worth and now that she's done that, she's taken a backseat and it's beyond annoying.
Her priorities have changed. It's just not important to her.
I don't know, I just think it's kinda creepy to demand a woman to slave away at creating extravagant visuals for our own gratification if she doesn't want to.
this is literally a privilege thing. she made her way to a top and doesn't feel she has to do it again because she has a strong fanbase that is so fickle she can do whatever she wants and gets a reaction. even in her harper's interview she said she doesnt have to promote because she doesnt feel like it anymore then laughs. that's the most privileged shit i've ever read in an artist interview without some sort of comment behind it or explanation. even i don't really care anymore and i wouldn't be surprised if i stopped paying attention to her soon. honestly it's like a joke to me, if you don't want a big promotion tha's fine, but don't ignore it like you didn't talk about for three months straight with excitement then switch to this new hobby of yours which i can't even tell is a joke or not anymore (like is she really gonna be that ho to bring boxes to a bookstore? i don't think so). seriously, just make songs if you want to and stop fucking around. especially when you had so much drive to be in this business and now you don't seem to care. it's one thing to grow and change your mind, it's another to just brush it off like it doesn't matter. thanks.

He offered to work with her for a song or two on HM. She turned him down since she thought his vision wouldn’t fit HM. Plus she wanted to work with Rick alone. Their work on UV had some tensions from time to time. None that they couldn’t resolve, but still. So I don’t see any collab or some sort with Dan anytime soon.
there was probably tension because he had a deadline and she doesn't know what those are
also
why do i feel like her poetry book will be pages from her typewriter stapled together with a lipstick print on it and some wheatgrass stains

I don't know what's worse...the probability of her cancelling, or another half assed performance in a mismatched outfit
what brand do we think will be this era? i'm thinking chico's
Watch Lana be like "I drove to 4 small record shops in LA and dropped off my album I burnt onto CDs. Each CD has a hand written note with it. I won't be releasing this album on iTunes nor will it be online. Hope you guys understand! Happy searching xx Lanz"
i'll shoot myself

"For people to still be listening and to have gone on different tours was not something I thought I would be doing into my thirties. That is really awesome for me. Also to meet new collaborators, I definitely wasn't expecting to make a whole new record with somebody like Jack Antonoff. I think the recording process has been very dreamy and very easygoing. I always try to keep [my record releases] as quiet as possible and barely promote my stuff, just because that's the way I like it [laughs]."

She’ll probably drop the album when she’s ready to drop her book
just like she dropped my expectations

Noooo I actually especially love Stephen because of this. He brings Lana back to her 2012-glam element with the big hair and lush makeup, and I absolutely love that side of her. It always puts me in my feels of the good ol' days. I really do hope they keep with the same aesthetic they've done in the past. x
oh no no, i'd still love some modern-lana glam i just meant that the past two have literally been the same hairstyle and makeup: half up/half down teased blow out and moody/smoky makeup with the crease accentuated, there cannot be a third time of this. maybe like something with braids and natural toned smoky makeup? or just a classic black cat eye look with nude lips? i just want to mix it up! still into the possibilities with this photog tho!

I actually really like this poem, and this is coming from me hating the last two. The only line I thought that was kind of corny and should be eliminated is "inside my stomach the cosmos are baking" *eyeroll*
she's talking about cosmic brownies sis
