Exactly what I was thinking. I'm not gonna derail the thread to an LDR discussion, but the artist's attitude, whether an album is strong or not can really derail the potential of success for the era

I just realized with this era, how important the artist's happiness truly is to a project. It shows through. I don't care for elaborate videos and "matching" visuals. The fact that she's so proud and pleased with herself really makes everything enjoyable.

I wasn't convinced when I saw the NME article because it was a rehash of the previous interviews. But then I saw she posted it on Instagram which for me confirms its coming out this year unless it gets pushed back (which is a possibility, I think). I doubt it will come out in August. My guess is mid to late fall. I don't mean to be a party pooper, but I could care less if it comes out this year...

*sigh* I get sad about Moroder and Wilson because she's expressed her love for them and their work, and nothing came of either. I personally believe Honeymoon could easily take on a summery vibe; definitely a lighter one. Since she mention "I Can Fly" was a reworked Honeymoon track, I'm more than eager to get an idea of what the album's composition will be like. But when she described the imagery of MTWBT (which, to me, was such a light and fun title) I'm quite sure it could end up being darker than expected lol

I guess it depends on when Honeymoon actually comes out I'd love to see her work on smaller more intimate films. I think there could be something really beautiful there. I hope she wasn't talking out her ass when she said that tbh
