  1. Woodkid is God, gurl, watchoo talkin bout?
  2. Out of curiosity, has anyone actually changed the order of official songs on iTunes? Sometimes i really want to...but...the blasphemy it is to change official material
  3. Yea but because of that, they're obvious picks for fake tracklists. If they make it on the album, great, but especially Living Legend I'd be surprised because it seemed it was written for someone on a personal level...
  4. If I see Fine China, Yes to Heaven, or Living Legend on a track list one more time, I swear...
  5. I feel like if that happened again, we'd be done for. I have such high expectations for Honeymoon based on the fact that she said her "muse is fickle." If her muse decided to show itself directly after UV was released then I think we'll get strong material. If she truly is over UV (or wasn't super inspired by it in the first place) then I can't imagine what we'll get now, because UV is a masterpiece, regardless.
  6. I don't know why I thought she mentioned it in an interview. Thanks though!
  7. Does anyone remember if Lana confirmed that the album art was completed by Francesco Carrozzini?
  8. Even though UV hasn't even been out for a year lmao I hope its just as moody and iconic as BTD and UV!
  9. That could definitely be it. I read it as a journey to Paradise. In the same vein as Tropico. Regardless, her ability to central an album around a common theme is impressive. I like listening to the album's straight through for this reason. Paradise is such a perfect example of this.
  10. I think, at one point though, Paradise was going to be a seperate LP entirely. I'm not sure if I'm making it up, but I swear I read it somewhere...
  11. So how can I get my greedy hands on these? lol
  12. I completely agree. I hadn't listened to any of her albums straight through in a while, so last week I just listened to AKA straight through to UV and I realized that, although all albums are strong, AKA and Paradise were the most interesting and pleasing to me because of their variety. Obviously Kahne did a good job in not sounding redundant, but the mix of producers and writers on Paradise made it really enjoyable. I'm here for more Haynie, I'd just hope he'd try to avoid sounding identical to BTD, or that, if he works on another album, there'd be more than a few producers.
  13. Whether you love him or hate him, there's no doubt in my mind he'll be back for a future album.
  14. The album was definitely a grower. Today I listened to it all the way through and felt it was more complete than I thought the first time I listened. And Immortal and Savages aren't really deep, but I enjoy songs like that, and Sex Yea and Hollywood, that just sorta come across as Marina's musings. I don't think they're ever meant to be profound, but their cliche-ness is cute, I think.
  15. I don't know if I'm reading too into it, but all these painting references in her photos (the filter on her last photo, her new IG icon, etc) I really hope it's a part of a larger visual vision. Can't wait to find out.
  16. http://www.thefader.com/2015/02/10/emile-haynie-interview About halfway down the article.
  17. OH MY GOD I WAS RIGHT! IT IS A BANANA!
  18. Honeymoon is such a light and airy title, but when she mentioned Ryden and Fellini, it made me think twice. Ryden uses light, pastel colors, but his subject matter is rather dark. And Fellini is very much noir, so I can't see this album being upbeat based on the title. I could be wrong. I'm actually glad she hasn't given much description. I'd rather be surprised.
  19. That really doesn't make sense; the fact that she'd follow a currently inactive account, because she doesn't follow very many accounts anyway. It made me think of the Tumblr page made right before UV. Totally forgot about it till now.
