While I loved seeing her live and she's still one of my favorite artists the whole thing was... bad Like I would've pretty much been fine with anything on stage cause all I wanted was to see her live, and I'm not disappointed at the result (especially cause I got to hear INHA live) but it didn't feel theatrical at all and it felt more like a 5th grade talent show

No Angel yes, definitely, one of her best songs, GNO is cute but there are way better songs on XCX World IMO (Good Girls, Waterdall, CTMP, Taxi, etc)

When I was 14 yo I was friends with this girl and she always told me that she liked me cause I made her laugh. One day I fought with the rest of the people in that group (except for her) but still, long story short, we ended up fighting. I texted her a long ass message that I ended with “hope I made you laugh one last time since everything I ever was to you was a clown”. You may be wondering what the fuck does this have to do with the song? Today I realised that the pronouns in the song and in the title are different, and I had an eureka moment The title is basically something the guy she was with used to tell her, and the same guy cheated on her and abused drugs, which made her sad and made her cry So, IMO, the whole song is about how he makes her cry cause he never comes through (as said in the chorus) and her repeating “I’m pretty when I cry” is like her taking a jab at him, saying “you’re an asshole and you have me crying but at least I look pretty doing so, right?” which is the same thing I said to that girl (it was something along the lines of “you’ve turned this into a joke but at least you’ll get a good laugh off of it”). It’s like she’s making hers something that she felt was used against her In the end it’s useless cause he doesn’t care about her and he doesn’t care about her reappropriating that thing but for Lana it’s a turning point Don’t know if this was something that had already been said but it struck me today and I felt the need to write it down
