Just got mine from Target! They had to get it from the back. The album has stickers inside, and the booklet opens into a "sucker" poster. Only complaint? The Target version (at least mine) fucking beeped out the fucks in Sucker.

smh. my store locator thing says 'limited copies available' so i guess i'm heading out early tomorrow to snag this.

lol No, no! I meant from other people's previous experiences when buying albums that just got released lol The day I see a physical copy of TR is the day I die.

From previous experiences, do you guys think Target will stock Sucker in tomorrow or will it be on shelves Tuesday?

It is a so gorgeous. The amount of pride I have for Marina for putting this song out... we've really watched her grow as a person over the last few years. This song is coming from the same person who wrote Numb and Teen Idle.... it's just really special.

New Songs First Listen Review: 1. Sucker- THIS IS EVERYTHING I WANTED AND MORE. So glad the intro was kept. Sounds so intense and raw. Great starter. 2. Doing It- FUNKY AND FRESH. 3. Body of Mine- Pretty funky by not as fresh. I like it, but so far like Doing It and Sucker better. Didn't expect it to end when it did. 4. Need Ur Luv- Still great. Mixing vocals on the chorus a lil weird though. Kinda wish there was some dreamy synths. It's the Lock You Up of Sucker.

Praying that Need Ur Luv isn't screwed up.

I just hope she is saving Famous and Need Ur Luv however the fuck its spelled for some special treatment. So far they still seem most promising. I really think Famous would have been a better lead in for Sucker hype though. She had the perfect opportunity for it with the AMAs.

I just got it today at Barnes and Noble. They had is displayed in a featured magazine section along with the "Men's interest" section.

The aesthetics of this era.

I feel like the most likely choices are: Million Dollar Man, Y & B, Money Power Glory, and Bel Air. Those to me just have lyrics that seem like they will make most sense. TBH you can cancel out a lot of Lana's songs if they have references to things after the 50s or use ghetto slang. That's really most of her songs lol

That still doesn't change that she said we would hear something this month to that girl through dm. And she vined the proof of its authenticity.

It's just so unexpected, and it happened so fast. I think that's what gets me. It wasn't like this was a gradual transition over two years like Marina, it felt like overnight. Her sudden fame is just adding fuel to the flame, and it's almost dizzying. I just don't even know what to make of it all anymore, but I hope the album delivers. She'll still be my girl no matter what, but it makes me nervous.

Charli is making me so I've never been this nervous about an album release.

The fruit and flora theme is definitely something important with this new music. Remember back when marina's twitter header was the sketch of peaches or something like that? The selfie she posted last week or so had grape emoticons as the caption. A few days ago she posted the picture of the girl with the flowers and spoon. And now we have the caption "froot" accompanying this snippet. What does this all mean, and how will it tie into the music? This is definitely not coincidence .

Remember those gorgeous instrumentals that Emile posted to his instagram a couple months ago? God, I hope his album sounds like that....

Some music sounds really good with back up like Florence and Machine, but Lana's doesn't quite have that sheer epic-ness that requires so much power. Lana's songs usually sound a bit more intimate, and I think they sound good with just her.
