Thank you! I've been thinking about this list since the interview.
-
imo, BTD/Paradise were more like Hollywood glam and high production. UV sounds like she's singing those surf songs again, cheap mic, electric guitar. Florida Kilos, for example, sounds like those unreleased songs that never been on a proper album.
-
Of course she wrote CW after VG. I'm not sayin she changed her opinion, just lyrically, UV is much more agressive and darker than BTD. It's more like Lizzy Grant.
-
You see how she changed, when she used to say that Video Games was herself on a song, and now she says Cruel World represents her life. I really wanted to know more about this cult leader, and, of course, about what this fortune teller told her.

Lana Del Rey Speaks About Next Record, "Music to Watch Boys To"
Angel Forever replied to Linethic's topic in New Releases
So we have a hype for a new album/era yet? My UV CD arrived on the last Tuesday! -
Got my deluxe today I'm kinda disappointed it comes in a cardboard sleeve. Does someone know if there's some kind of acrylic case (like a jewelcase) where I can keep it?
-
I can't imagine her singing Bel Air or Black Beauty live... The songs I really want her to keep on the setlist are Cola, Body Electric, Born to Die and National Anthem. And well, getting a live of Florida Kilos would be very funny!
-
I'm surprised, tbh. I read it's not him singing in the end of Brooklyn Baby, though they did some collabs writing this album. She always said how they match each other, talking about their dead icons. I hope Lana is happy.

Vox Article- The life of Lana Del Rey & Album Projections
Angel Forever replied to delreyfan's topic in Latest News
Now, that's an authentic article. Recently, LanaBoards on twitter said that Fucked My Way Up To The Top is about Taylor Swift, and this article mentioned Taylor right when they were talking about authenticity, lol. Well, in the end, I think Ultraviolence is media's chance to redeem all that bullshit they created when Born to Die dropped and all that hate on her [supposed] inauthenticity. -
hahahahah I hadn't noticed that, I'm laughing now... How could I not have noticed, lol

This video reminds me of the lyrics of OTTR.
-
He lives in shades of cool and she lives in shades of warm. Interesting and sexy video. I love the part she's walking on that boulevard with those palm trees!
-
Je suis brésilien aussi, mais je suis arrière-grand-petit-fils de français, lol. Mon cousin étudie à Lyon. J'aime la France!

Wow. It's really creepy, because UV song seems to make reference to Jim Jones. He was a religious leader in whose community there was a mass suicide caused by cyanide poisoning. And there're all those references to Deadly Nightshade and poison in the lyrics, "I could have died right there" (she stated that she left the sect), "And you're my cult leader", and she calls him Jim. Creepy But I don't think it's the case, just coincidence... lol

Colored video and awkward dancing. It'll be cool, oh wait...

Physical Exclusive Bonus Track Revealed: "Flipside"
Angel Forever replied to Mind Melt's topic in New Releases
I love this lo-fi instrumental. Very good song, -
I find some interesting things on UV. It sounds like a mix of Sirens and AKA sometimes. It's nice that it only leaked today, because someone had the CD, so someone got the CD before it actually leaked online. And I also like the reference of "Blue hydrangea" in the lyrics of Old Money because these flowers are the pattern printed on the disc and there's that picture of her lying on those flowers, smoking. UV is different of everything I've ever listened. It's creative and fits her style so well. The electric guitar brought such a cool vibe to the songs. I love it!

Tense interview... But she talked very honestly.
