My gut feeling tells me this era is gonna be amazing.

In my head I see the visuals being a mixture of Californian beaches and Washington state forests. 90s laid back fashion with minimal make up too. Nothing showy or too glamorous.

She's coming across as confident in a very discreet, casual way (Which shows when listening to MAC). I'd love it if those vibes carried across into the visuals.

Also I don't think will be getting a flower this era.

Whenever someone mentions the song Bartender, Spender starts playing in my head with the word 'spender' replaced with 'bartender'.. like "hey bartenderrr, spend a little time with me." Lol is it just me?

I hope we get Venice Bitch merch that I'd be too scared to wear outside of my house lol

LFL was way too ambitious. The acoustic part of it kinda got tossed away and this is now a part of MAC.

As much as people hate LFL, it was a necessary album. I loved HM. Still is my fave from her, but to transition directly from HM into the sounds of MAC (even if I love them), it would have been a «too easy transition» between the two. We needed LFL's big production, all in major tones, in order to return to calmer seas (lol).

about Sylvia... I've been thinking lately about that song, that she mentioned it to fans at one or two of her shows... but has anyone recorded her mentioning Sylvia?

I really hope one day we get a documentary or book from Lana herself to talk about her career, it's interesting to me that she spent so many years constructing the persona of Lana Del Rey (lyrically, sonically and visually) to gradually take it apart record-by-record and eventually return to her natural self. I'd love to know the thought processes and reasoning behind it all...

I don't know why but I'm seeing something evergreen (as a metaphor) so maybe something like ivy? (obviously not a flower) I really am excited to see the visual direction she takes with this record.

Yes, I am pleased she's decided to make music for herself again (it's when she shines most), I do believe Lust For Life had a couple of songs like Get Free, that she had written for herself, but the "music for my fans" didn't work out as I expected.

pls no collabs honestly. LFL was saturated in collabs and it only served to weaken the album overall.

I'm really excited to hear what influence Jack Antonoff has. Aim and Ignite is such a great album, maybe one of the best indie pop/rock releases of the era.

I just am so so happy MAC is authentic, raw, and seems to paint a story - personal to LDR -
it makes the music so much more relatable again - (unlike with LFL) - and I just am so thankful for this
    beautiful song...
also I am sick and tired of ppl using labels such as "happy" and "sad"
it shouldn't be labeled and boxed up... let the music and lyrics express
experiences she has had, to which we can relate to and find comfort in the unification of life's struggle
