Im much more excited for a GG or Oscar nim than a Grammy one.

As much as i like Parker, Hayne ect. i kinda don't want BTD 2.0 either, not that i want a whole genre change or anything but i'd like to see her try out some new stuff, or work more with producers who have only appeared on her albums once or twice. I'm fine if regualrs come back for some of it though of course, she's done cool stuff with them before so all good. Angels Forever is gorgous, i love it, but it sounds like Ride 2 and a Paradise left over, i don't want this new album to sound like that.

I'm not expecting a win, and i fucking hate this awards show...............but, i love her so the noms are welcome.

It's a real shame the original score work isn't on the EP, just the 3 songs and movie. If it had the score i would have bought it, otherwise i have BTD deluxe cd, BTD iTunes download, Paradise single disc cd, Paradise iTunes download and Paradise special box set thingie............i really don't need these 3 songs for the 10th time, but hopefully the film gives the tracks some good exposure which im sure it will.

She's an ENIGMA

The intent is open to interpretation, so is the style of the film, but the story however is as easy to follow as a childrens bedtime book. Adam/Eve live in purity, they eat the apple of sin, are damned to hell where they lose themselves (aka- L.A) and then find redemption in their Gods again, are baptized and go to heaven. There's the story, A, B, fucking C, congrats to me for having brain cells.

There are no UFOs, they are clouds lol, do not listen to some people here honestly they have no clue, which is odd because the film is so straight forward.

No, an established narrative structure makes a story, which it had. Shame you didnt understand it, oh well 4 u. Maybe you can go watch Friends or Gossip Girl instead x.

I dont get the lack of plot comments either, the plot is obvious and the 3 sections dont feel seperate at all.

Waits for ppl here to be disappointed in the album after hyping it for 7 months tbh.

It's cool, i liked it, especially after a couple more watches and letting it sink in. I can see how someone may not be into it, it's not for everyone and i doubt she expected it to be. I do worry about fans claiming it's "not a film" though, like as if somehow a short film can only be told in one way for it to be considered a film, ridiculous. It was hyped up for months so on initial viewing i can see how it may not meet "expectations", however for me the film was exactly as i was imagining so i cant say i was surprised by what it turned out to be.

The storyline isn't vague at all, its clear as day.

I like it, completely pretentious of course lol, but it's still enoyable for what it is, a surreal little art film that doesn't always makes sense but has some interesting imagery and themes here and there with some cute B movie set design. I'll definitly watch it again, but i still think RIDE is her best video project to date. I love some of the editing though, the transition when she bites the apple to flashes of the strip club after she is damned is cool, and she looks gorgeous in the black top at the end in the car with the shots of the baptism, the musical score during then is nice too, same with the intro, i assume that's the 'Tropico' music?.....very beautiful. The Bel Air portion is also very nice, that could work as a video all by itself. It's 25 minutes of Lana surrounded by copies of The Paradise Edition masturbating over the BTD era with a comb stuck in her hair and a kettle whistle blowing in the kitchen lol, it's certainly a "go out with a bang" exit for the era, i'll give her that. x.

This album will be ut Summer 2014. That's not realy THAT early, Paradise did come out November 2012. That 1 year and 7 months later.
