This is very good, he’s very critical but looks at at the whole situation for what it is without the hyperbole imo. I think both him and Fontano have made very fair criticisms of this whole thing.

I think releasing a song right now from her would be a fucking terrible idea, proceeds going to charity or not. I am glad she’s still posting about this protest though and I’m glad she turned her comments ON. If she’s going to talk about the culture like she did a week ago, well.....don’t lock comments gurl, take the good with the bad. That’s what happens when you put that out there, unfairly misunderstood or not. She’s still a hot topic with all this drama, you can see it in some comments, “open your purse!”.....”shut up”.... ect, it’s the internet, it always going to lead from a place of negativity. All she can do now is show support, let this whole thing simmer down, take the hate with the love (there’s alot of positive feedback on here insta too) and just move the fuck on and learn from this.

Her career isn’t over lol, even if some people turn off her for good she still has many fans. Her insta has a lot of supporters in the comments, even poc. Once this all settles (which it will), people will move on to the next social media drama. She has most definitely said enough though, this is clearly not an issue she can just freely talk about so if she has any brains she’ll step back from this bullshit for a while. Her first insta post and then second “explanation” were clear enough, but she kept going on and on trying to explain herself, made a video, ect. I get it, she was clearly trying to clarify everything but it really wasn’t working. People just don’t want to hear it, so she needs to stop.

She’s pissed some people off, it makes her a target, at least for now. If she didn’t post about the riots, she’s awful, when she does post, she’s not doing it right ect. It’s the nature of social media, people love to drag, and even if it’s earned, the level of enjoyment people get out of it has always been weird to me.
