I was SO disappointed by this Q&A! She could have pick some fun questions or put some humor if she didn't want to answers the serious one. Seriously, we wouldn't even think about asking those to our MotW.

  5. Poison Ivy liked a post in a topic by European in ElleUK Q&A with Lana Del Rey
On October 24th Lana Del Rey did an 'twitter correspondance' with ElleUK. The interview went up to a total of 10 questions containing little to no new information, thus taking the lead as the most pointless interview to have ever existed in the world of Lana Del Rey.

Question: Who is your favourite fashion icon?
Answer: “I love Lauren Bacall. I'm also inspired by Natasja Kinski and Natalie Wood.”

Question: Who are the top 5 most important people in your life? (no need to have an order)
Answer: “My dear friends Wendy and Jane, my boyfriend Barrie, and my managers Ben and Ed.”

Question: Do you have any weird pre-show rituals?
Answer: “Me and the band always say a prayer before we go on stage. Other than that anything goes.”

Question: What is your favourite old movie?
Answer: “The Big Sleep is my favourite.”

Question: What do you think is more important - lyrics or melody?
Answer: “The most important thing is tone and quality of a voice. Writing is my passion, but melodies are what you notice first.”

Question: Where do you feel most at home?
Answer: “I feel at home wherever I lay my head, I'm in a different place every day but I love being with my boyfriend.”

Question: How does it feel to have a Mulberry bag named after you?
Answer: “It's wonderful to be involved with a brand with so much class and integrity like Mulberry.”

Question: Will you be present at the 2012 EMAs?
Answer: “I dont know yet xx -----.“

Question: There’s a rumour that you’re retiring. Please say this isn’t true!
Answer: “I'm writing soundtracks for some beautiful movies and that's what i always wanted to do so it will all work out!”

Question: What is your favourite Mulberry Del Rey?
Answer: “My favourite Mulberry Del Rey bag is the ink blue sparkle crocodile print.”

I hope I got them lyrics right...feel free to suggest/correct!

Salvatore, you can deff be my baby boo
Be my mafiosi rock 'n' roll high
Back to Malibu, in our trailer park for two
We're like Sid and Nancy, loving the fight

We got a jumper, got a jumper
Got a jumper, got a jumper
My man’s crazy and his mind isn't right
    But I like him--fact, I love him
    I can’t get e-enough of him
He knows only I can save him tonight

I’ve been waiting on your love
Baby, for too long now, too long now
I thought that I could change you like the others
But I don’t know how, don’t know how
    It’s gonna backfire
    It’s gonna backfire, baby
    Gonna backfire
    Gonna backfire, baby
Told you a million times before
Yes, I’m up for it a million more

I'm tired of fighting you, seems like everything I do
Even when I win, I lose with you, man
And it’s not something you choose
    You say trouble follows you
It’s been like that since the day you began

We got a jumper, got a jumper
Got a jumper, got a jumper
I know very well you’re bringing me down
I will follow, I will follow
For a little piece of heaven
I am ready, I am willing to drown

I’ve been waiting on your love
Baby, for too long now, too long now
I thought that I could change you like the others
But I don’t know how, don’t know how

    It’s gonna backfire
    It’s gonna backfire, baby
    Gonna backfire
    Gonna backfire, baby
We've done it a million times before
Yes, I’m up for it a million more

    We’re always taking trips downtown
    Officer Brown’s always coming around
Tapping on our windows, “Kids, come out
Ain’t no way to live, let me show you how.”
But we know we’re not gonna change
Keep hustlin’ every night and day

I’ve been waiting on your love
Baby, for too long now, too long now
I thought that I could change you like the others
But I don’t know how, don’t know how

    It’s gonna backfire
    It’s gonna backfire, baby
    Gonna backfire
    Gonna backfire, baby
Done it a million times before
And I’m up for it a million more

My first exposure to Lana was when Pitchfork wrote up Video Games. I actually watched the music video for the first time with my ex-lover on his sofa in his living room. I was blown away by the beauty of her voice and how much she looked like Brigitte Bardot in some scenes . The bass and the drums in the production really stood out to me. He was unfazed by Lana, but I was in awe. When the video was over all I could say was, "She sings like Marilyn Monroe, but better." My ex said that Marilyn wasn't that good of a singer in the first place. x_x

VG was stuck in my head the entire week! I would always go back to it and thought how perfectly the images and lyrics captured a time in my life when I was naively content with everything. I started to obsess over her voice and how resonant and warm her tone was and the hints of darkness in her voice. Every since then I had a strong suspicion that Lana and I had similar philosphies on life and the more she opens up about herself and her performances like the debut of Born to Die in Paris to the Ride music video the more I am convinced that I have found my soul-artist and no-one is going to take that away.

I went from "is this guy using the same gif in all his posts, wtf" to "no, it's probably his signature" and now back to, oh he actually did . Reminds me of gagadaily

Ugh, those are such terrible things to say, no matter who he's referring to. What a pathetic little twat.

Feel free to praise Lana's underwear choice and admire this picture of Lana's gramma panties taken by a photographer gone lesbian for Lana (as you all do).
