They did...wow, incredibly dumb move. Maybe they're re-uploading the original through a pre-order? I shudder to think that they could be replacing it with version 2 on the album.

It's the same length (+ a second) as the first version, but is horribly produced. It sounds quite unfinished and strips away the hypnotic quality of the original as a result.

But it's a second longer than the original and still contains the mic check part, so it's not the same mix. I can't get over how messy that vocal editing is in the new iTunes version.

I really hope they use the original for the album. Not feeling the vocal editing at all on the 4:16 version on US iTunes.

Agree that she's mainstream in terms of her position in pop culture, but I don't think her genre itself has ever been attributable to the mainstream or to pop.

Maybe that's where Moroder comes in.

What if the Bang Bang cover is a track from UV that she previewed for fans? Sad to hear that the instrumentals were very different from Nancy's version, though.

I love that it has become a tradition for a fan to give her a flower crown towards the end of shows.
