That would be awesome.

Maybe she's saying she fucked herself over while trying to make it to the top? Or she's using it in an allegorical way?
-
Also, Florida Kilos' length is very close to that of Kill Kill.
-
Not sure how I feel about FMYUTTT and Florida Kilos, but maybe they will have great lyrics. The rest look incredible and The Other Woman is only a few seconds shorter than the Nina Simone version, so I really hope it's a cover.

Amazing song. I think it's one of Lana's favorites as well.

Wasn't "Pretty When You Cry" a title that was floating around and confirmed to be fake?

Wow, this is hard. Driving in Cars with Boys, Black Beauty, Never Let Me Go, Serial Killer, Hawaiian Tropic, Come When You Call Me America, Velvet Crowbar, JFK, Trash, On Our Way, You and Me, or Angels Forever. I tried and failed to narrow it down.

The new still is so Wild at Heart-esque. I love it.

New 'Ultraviolence' Song Title: "Money, Power, and Glory"

How did this board get messy as hell over night? -
You better take button-ups off that list.

My friend was going to wear a dress, but thought she would be more comfortable in high-waisted shorts and a tank top.

Okay, I changed my outfit slightly. Still wearing my Lana Jack Daniels t-shirt, but wearing a plaid, Lacoste button-down over it with Ralph Lauren khaki shorts. I chose black Keds shoes to match the t-shirt. I'm also wearing a watch on one wrist and stacking braided bracelets and a more intricate one, that my friend who has a jewelry business made, on the other wrist. Seems like a good mixture of my own style and festival accessories, I think. I'm glad I finally figured it out.

Does the IG music video preview feature the first or second original version of WC from iTunes? At first, I was sure it was the first, but I'm not so sure now.

Really? I would love a Dan-produced jazz track. Listen to the New Orleans live version of MDM. -

New 'Ultraviolence' Song Title: "Money, Power, and Glory"

The article was just saying that MP&G had remnants of the BTD sound...it's probably still rock-oriented in general. -
Ultraviolence - Pre-Release Thread

So, we have "West Coast', "Cruel World", "Money, Power and Glory," and possibly "Black Beauty." My expectations are incredibly high for this album. This really has the potential to be a huge breakthrough with critics and the Grammys. It should also continue the commercial success she experienced with BTD, if WC's sales are any indication of public interest. -
New 'Ultraviolence' Song Title: "Money, Power, and Glory"

Oops, okay, I'm just going to stick to the language I know. It says that UV as a whole abandons the hip-hop beats in favor of melancholic rock and soft jazz, but that MPG has traces of it still. -

New 'Ultraviolence' Song Title: "Money, Power, and Glory"
ilovetati replied to Sitar's topic in Latest News
Another part of the interview says "The hip-hop beats of Born to Die, its strings and legendary violins are gone...Guitars, rock-and-roll and soft jazzy vibes - Ultraviolence is here." Are we sure of the context of that bit about "Money, Power, and Glory?" The first sentence could have been addressing the shift from hip-hop beats to a rock sound. Edit: the passage says that MPG illustrates the "virage" which translate to "turn." I think it's saying that the song is an example of the shift from BTD's hip-hop beats, and the rhythmic music that American radios love, to the new rock sound. -
Old school Cher vibes.
