You're allowed to dislike it, but you also don't need to try and bring everyone else down while we're enjoying it.

Haha I told you guys it would sound like Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra!

When you take "you got the music in you" in context it's quite gorgeous. As I said in the lyric thread, she is referencing her sobriety and people saying she's not having fun unless she's drinking but she has found "the music" in this guy that has made her feel alive again. Then she talks about people in the West Coast having their shallow, Hollywood icons (Queen of Saigon reference), but her guy simply has "the music." It's stunning.

Perfectly matches the stripped-down, atmospheric/psychedelic, 60s rock sound she described...couldn't be more perfect.

Lana coming for that critical acclaim and all of the Grammys.

I love how it references her sobriety...like people saying she can't have fun without drinking but she found "the music" in this guy that has made her feel alive again.

UK singles come out on Sundays...May 18 is a Sunday. And they release singles a week or two before albums there.

I think that's the UK date, guys.

The psychedelic rock I prayed for. Thank you, Lana. Not sure how I feel about that synth that kicks in towards the end, though.

That was everything I wanted and more.

Someone on atrl said it sounds sorta psychedelic rock or Stevie Nicks-esque?? I'm trying not to listen to the live clips, but please let that be true.

Well, the person who sent it to me originally is usually pretty reliable, so maybe it is real. I love the sound, but the presence of heavy beats rather than guitar melodies makes me question if it's legitimate the most. I guess we'll see.
