  1. I use these Steven Klein shots as replacement Honeymoon covers. Or the one that looks like she’s hanging herself with pearls
  2. His Honeymoon cover art would have been iconic. Instead....
  3. There are so many iconic photographers who could give us a 90s-ish shot of LA featuring Lana in a park or in front of a cityscape, but she settles for Chucky or a selfie instead.
  4. It’s kind of sad when basic fan edits are miles better than her last two album covers. And yes, music over imagery. But visuals were a huge part of her artistry when she first came out on the scene, and it was probably part of the package of what attracted most of us to her. I’m not asking for Beyoncé-level visuals, but at least put in the effort of people like Lorde, FKA twigs, Kelela, St Vincent, etc. I know she wants people to realize she’s not style over substance, which critics did claim in the BTD era, but surely she’s proven that point by now.
  5. I know she’s fascinated by cults, but girl. She’s been talking about God so much recently. But maybe someone just asked her to go, so she tried it once....who knows
  6. Didn’t she give us LFL track list like one week before it came out
  7. That would be awesome. Like the album shifts when VB does at the two-minute mark, and then stays a psychedelic experience.
  8. I could see In Your Car as an opener and MAC as the closer.
  9. I live in fear that the title track is HIAB and it stays a boring piano ballad.
  10. Ok, but NFR is clearly the ying to UV’s yang and that’s that on that
  11. What annoys me is even artists who work with much smaller budgets like FKA Twigs or Kelela still have iconic visuals, but Lana is just plain lazy :skull: I feel like a lot of it is her still reacting to people from BTD era saying she was all style and no substance, but girl we get it now.
  12. The fact that this album could be on par with Ultraviolence is No flaws in the three songs so far, and we have Cinnamon/How to Disappear coming. If they did a few more psych guitar-driven songs, whew Also, I hope she doesn’t say the title in the NFR song.
  13. Hold me, love me, touch me, honey*
  14. I would love something textless and simple like this so much.
  15. Speak for yourself, heathen. —- I just can’t picture How to Disappear as anything but a piano ballad, so I wonder how that production we heard will work. I could see a Mazzy Star type song, but not those produced beats.
  16. Daily reminder that the rest of the songs need to bring back woozy guitars. Thanks.
  17. It’s so crazy and feels so long ago to me when she used to serve daring, glamorous visuals
  18. Also, what is the pic that shows up on Shazam? I haven’t seen it
  19. First of all, Complex explicitly stated that the press release from Lana’s team said all three songs we have are from the album...just not official singles. Secondly, the snippet shows up on Shazam as “Happiness is a Butterfly” so its a different track from NFR. Thirdly, I was also expecting more psych rock influence after those early interviews, but we don’t know what the other songs will sound like and those we have snippets for may change like VB. Jack is known for switching up production mid-song.
  20. Um, is it NFR? I expected that song to be a psych rock experience not a piano ballad.
