Well the video was... a video. She looked great. The skater in the desert imagery is pretty beautiful but cause it's not her it's just like okay sure. Having the masks in the video is dumb af like there's no reason for it the extras weren't even needed -
Gosh just finished my first listen. White Dress was so unexpected in full as opposed to the snippet. So free form and improvisational. My reaction by Wild at Heart was that this is the best she has ever sounded. The vocal production, it sounds so grand and the closest she has come to Born to Die since. Dark but just a game was such a surprise, something totally different for her, such a cool twisted song that kind of unwinds and you don’t know where it’s taking you. It kind of reminds me of Windmills Of Your Mind. Such a strong track ? I feel like she could build a whole new sound of this track and it would become her best album. Dance til we die had me thinking hmm this is nice but nothing much to hold my attention—then that breakdown kicked in like FUCK ⚰️ I literally started laughing this is her best song ever. That came out of left field and knocked me out. This makes me so excited for her future. The imagery of a Midwestern town really fits this album perfectly. Quaint, unpretentious and charming. I was seriously scared this album would be inconsequential from some of the comments I’ve seen but I see so much promise here. I think it’s easier than ever to see where she’ll go next and it sounds incredibly promising. More free form, intuitive and playful.

Let me 1 up yall and say I just walked past the venue I saw her in 5 years ago in a room above a pub of 70 people mostly disinterested industry ppl 30+yrs lingering at the back while me and a friend being the only ones dancing With a handler surveying us before entering asking which artist we'd say she was most similar to clearly for marketing purposes

This comment took me out

When she’s forced to finalise the Lana documentary to sell to Netflix and publish a book of Lana pics to pay for diapers... yeah
-
Wait this has a ring to it Wait this is now a confirmed working title

Nice but You guys aren’t getting it lmao? Think about people that are referenced in the songs / people who inspired the sound or visuals of each album / prominent figures from the eras the music inspired by not just adding fucking to song titles

I was thinking what would be an appropriate title for each album if an artist, author, poet, director etc. were used to summarise the album in the way Norman Rockwell was? Post your ideas Lana Del Ray - Brian Fucking Wilson! Born To Die - David Fucking Lynch! Ultraviolence - Hunter S. Fucking Thompson! Honeymoon - Federico Fucking Fellini! Lust For Life - Phil Fucking Spector!

Wow this sounds like it will be a great feature and the cover is surprisingly great lol. It definitely looks like it is an unpublished shot repurposed from 2019 but we will see -
I made this Gimme What I Want cover from the pic on her instagram

Of course it would have been nice for a more creative treatment and bigger production but for a live video it is good, the quality the film adds to it is beautiful and the heart is there
