I've been going to the beach lately when its been bright out but so cold and it's so peaceful and this album just hits so different in that setting. Watching the blinding glistening waves while listening to Mariners and Venice Bitch especially.... This album is a nautical masterpiece. Such an immersive soundscape throughout. Hope... has actually revealed itself to be top 3 from the album over time. This was me today And on another note the fact we never got the beach interview with Zane Lowe sucks

Listened to Hollywood's Bleeding for the first time in a while and thought fuck a Post Malone x Miley collab would be such a classic. Plastic Hearts and Hollywood's Bleeding are pretty similar how'd I not notice this! Even the album titles / the subject matter of the title tracks are about the same LA phoney fake culture Edit It was specifically the song Take What You Want that made me think of Miley and I just saw it was produced by Andrew Watt no wonder!... yup collab needs to happen

The fact We’re good sounds like something she’d release between No Lie / the Wale feature / Lost in your light era (No Lie is better) got me listening to Scared to Be Lonely on repeat today. Why is it actually good and aged well?? Surprising

Wtf The music video really made me dislike everything even more

Prisoner is the best song on the rerelease! Went into this pretty open minded but it sucks right Not My Problem is a 2005-esque track that sounds audibly ugly That Kind of Woman sounds so bare and weird and unexciting, but it birthed the excellent Jacques Lu Cont remix which is definitely top 5 Dua songs If It Ain't Me sounds exactly like what it is an outtake that wasn't put on the album for a reason We're Good is okay it totally reminds me of Fergie - especially Mary Jane Shoes

It actually induces anxiety thinking about the sheer amount of vinyl, cd, cassette and merch production is on the way for each rerelease. Poor planet earth!

Let me backtrack on any negativity and say Fearless is perhaps her best album so I will be listening to this, especially the 6 unheard tracks. It’s very cool she got Colbie Caillat back for Breathe. And I’m really glad she is including the platinum edition tracks because those could have easily been overlooked. Fearless actually has so many classics ? Breathe Tell Me Why You’re Not Sorry The Other Side of the Door - One of her absolute best songs for me The Way I Loved You White Horse Superstar Untouchable Jump Then Fall yeah... Hopefully this sets a precedent for artists to start rereleasing anniversary editions of old albums with unreleased tracks more frequently

Idk why anyone would find that weird you don’t know about their relationship. With the things Lana has spoken about regarding her mother and stuff in Violet and the Chemtrails video largely being Lana taking care of kids, part of me thinks it’s some sort of inner child thing? And is she one of the friends allegedly from AA?

A large part of me feels super cynical about the rerecordings because 1. the main motivation is money 2. what makes old music special is the nostalgia and the fact it was recorded when the artist was younger and at a different stage in their life/career But it is interesting because something on this scale has never been done in recent history by somebody of her popularity I'm high key most interested to see what the updated artwork will be like.

This is an absolute dream I always hoped this would happen, I have loved Lana singing this. Between this and the Hallucinogenics remix my fantasy of a Lana Del Rey & Friends release of all her NFR! guests is basically happening

The set was so fun, she sounded pitch perfect such a difference to the 2019 festival tour. The Joan Jet trio was the highlight, Bad Karma especially was so good. And Angels Like You at last

I read that her Super Bowl Tailgate performance is gonna be a little over an hour according to the NFL digital content manager WTF I thought it would be like 20 mins. Such amazing news. She is in such a privileged position to perform a show to an actual crowd and she totally recognised it and she looks like she’s gonna bring it so hard. Remember when she was organising a wildfire benefit concert for Australia at the beginning of last year just before covid kicked off majorly and it had to be cancelled? She has done so many prerecorded live sets the past year I am so pumped to see a show that is completely live and with a crowd and I just read there’s gonna be 7,500 people there. This is actually a huge deal for her and watching this is going to cure my live music withdrawals. Legend shit.

So funny I came across this by chance. The same exact thing has been happening to me. I don't use iTunes often at all only for unreleased stuff etc so I always forget it's a problem until the time I listen to those songs. So annoying. I don't think there seems to be a pattern in which tracks it happens to. I assumed it was happening to certain ones cause I ripped them from youtube (live performances don't judge) but it also happened with direct downloads and then with the stuff I've downloaded recently it hasn't been a problem at all. So??

Por Vida seems like forever ago I remember I was super interested in her that summer and so mad I missed a show she had done in my city simply cause I didn't hear about it until the next day. It's so weird how the album artwork on Spotify at least has changed a few times. I don't recall any other semi big artists doing that. Did she just not like it? It was the tracklist image for ages and I just saw it's that LQ upside down screencap now.. Weird!

May not be politically correct but idgaf it's one of the things I like so much about Lana / Weyes Blood etc... I do think there is something to be said for artistry and the way artists present themselves/what they want people to notice especially in their presence online but I won't get into it I just happen to have a strong aversion to the entire makeup / YouTuber / influencer sphere and the culture around it I know people won't agree with me
